Thanks for visiting my channel. I appreciate your precious time and support.
If I spend time in my Workshop, I feel peace and quietness, without worries and anxiety in a world that has gone crazy. My videos are meant to entertain and eventually make one calm down in order to forget about worries, at least for a little while. This is also why, I talk only very little within the movies to not disturb.
Building, modifying , constructing, restoring, inventing, maintaining and showing these things in the making. Some are just for the fun, others are useful and some are just added value to look at. Have fun!

Body Work on CYCLO SKIFF 1955
Within this movie 2K epoxyd primering, fillering, basecoating and clearcoat application on the Cyclo Skiff project is included. As I could not find a RAL Color Code, the metallic red color was measured before sandblasting on an old polished piece, so the color should turn out the way it was.
The “Cyclo Skiff” emblem/logo was copied and transferred to a template, so I was able to airbrush it on the body after the first application and before the final layer of clearcoat.
After the clearcoat, some orange skin looking segments need to be wet sanded and polished away.

Sioux Valve Face Grinder

I recently upgraded my workshop with this sioux valve face grinding machine 2075 from the mid nineties. Unfortunately before first use, I saw smoke coming out of the switching panel. After some testing and measuring, it was obvious, that one of the switches was over the top and needed replacement. Works great now and gets some official tasks soon.
Wheel Dent Removal with modified Vise #3

These wheels from the Cyclo Skiff "Holländer" have dents to correct. Unfortunately, they are not straight but curved. Therefore, I had to come up with a tool that allows me to correct these flaws and bring back the original shape. A nice little outcome here with a mold from liquid metal together with a slightly modified Gressel vise.
Molding Grips #2

The actual condition of the hand grips required me to manufacture new once. I decided to go for molding. First I had to create a negative together with one of the original grips. After that, I was able to mold a set of grips that perfectly match the original shape. The actual grip is made with a shore A 40 hardness. This enabled a better deform due to the undercut. Fiberglass Repair with Vacuum

The clutch housing of this velosolex engine 3800 has a hole from debris and dirt being ingested by the spinning wheel. To keep as much of original parts, I decided to repair it with fiberglass under vacuum processing and temperatur resistant resin, to make it durable and lasting again. Have fun watching it.

My dad owned a Velo Solex 3800, i used to sneak out and drive it until it ran out of fuel. He never scolded me for doing it, only told me to be careful while having fun. I was 10 years old at the time… imagine what people would think if it happened today. 😂

It seems to me that no engineer ever designed that contraption. The weight distribution is all wrong. The engine over the front wheel is ridiculous. It makes steering the thing much, much harder not to speak of the torque of the engine dragging you around corners to your doom.
Indeed, this is def. not ideal and additionally dangerous to drive, while wet. However, a Porsch 911 is also absolutely off balance with the engine in the back and therefore killed many ambitious drivers (widow maker). They still stick to this set up though. I guess to be successfull doesn‘t automatically require perfection.
