The mod that brings back my weird, chaotic and fun childhood of the music making app (almost being an incredibox but more "technical" for making music), And now we have this mod that is not entirely "MODERN HIP-HOP", but it is a taste for those who want to relive the Groovepad: by itself, from the teasers of this mod, it did not catch my attention, So much so that it didn't even make me remember that it was modern hip hop from the first teaser, but at least in the second teaser it improved, so much so that I prefer to consider that as the first teaser, From the first real teaser that just looks like a proto, but the mod itself, the Beats are interesting, even though I didn't like each sound being separated like: Kick, Snare and hi hat, You can still enjoy it, but it would be more intuitive if it were a single beat with these sounds, especially if you compare it, it still leaves you wanting more with the other Beats that are in modern hip hop, It's like doing the same thing as the speaker head effect (even if I would add a bass because it's a speaker, I would still find it much more interesting), beat 4 & 5 doesn't exist in modern hip hop, Being original, the effects like the simple bass, which was something to be expected, but it would be better if it had the other basses of modern hip hop, which can be even better than the simple bass, The speaker is the best effect, the drop is also good, and the other two effects are also good, the melodies could be better, both because they are very simple, So much so that, There are sounds from modern hip hop that are much more striking and memorable that make you miss the music, such as: the sound called Flute, which is specifically this one: th-cam.com/video/n4uc2xvW1zw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3SpbHeOKaGyAaeFV (And there's this guy's channel that already shows each sound and their names separately from modern hip hop), which would be really good for music if these sounds were added, Okay, I think a mod that does this well (even though it's not complete) is Gangbox Hip Hop (unknown to many, But this mod was posted on Brock The incredimaker's channel (The creator is someone else), He changed the name of the channel if I'm not mistaken), That mod has some of the sounds of modern hip hop, some edited to be distinct sounds, but the mod takes the best sounds of modern hip hop in every way, I even think it's difficult to have a mod that has all those modern hip hop sounds, at least I could have taken the best and most memorable ones, because the ones here are very simple,The only coolest being the 5th melody in modern hip hop that reminded me of the sound right away, The voices are the same as the original, the only ones being different are voice 2 (which is what says "Hey") and the choir, the "Hey" Guy could honestly replace him with any other voice from the original, the "choir" (It's not exactly a chorus, but anyway), it's good, but I don't see much difference to the music, and the secret sounds, the beat I thought it would be one of those from the original including the bass from those Beats, But it wasn't really that, even though he's cool, and the voice isn't that great, even though it's a bonus sound, and speaking of bonuses, They were more of the same as the music, besides the animation not being that great, being the same as the characters' Jsons, which I thought had evolved since the prototype teaser, They still have very strange Json animations, so the mod is a 7/10 at least, it's still a playable mod, but it could be better than it was, our dear Burn.

Well Well Welll, After a year in the making, 2 weeks for me being tortured in high school, (also not so fun fact: they have an Anti-Phone policy now, ISN'T THAT GREAT?) you have decided to release this mod today, While I was still in school BUT it doesn't matter now, I have a new mod to review, (and also I got to review another one which is an 90s one) So, without further ado: LET'S GET REVIEWING! Dead-Eye's GroovBox Mod Review: The Beats: Beat 1, 2 and 3 are typical sounds that you would hear in an average Incredibox mod, BUT for some reason: instead of beat 4 and 5 being beats, one of them is a bass and the other one is a voice, not saying that they're bad, in fact: both the 3 beats, the bass AND the voice work very well together, It's just that it's weird of how the bass and voice are placed. like.......why would you place a bass and a voice in the beat section? that's so weird. The Effects: Effect 1 is a Beat, Effect 2 is a COOOOOOOOOOOOOOLER bass, Effect 3 is a melody that sounds like a bird, Effect 4 is just another "hey" vocal (what is it with the "hey" vocals?), Effect 5 is part-Transition and part-Effect 2 from Alpha (V1), just like the Beats, They work very well together. The Melodies: Melody 1 and 2 are electronic sounds, Melody 3 is another voice, Melody 4 and 5 are whistles, like the other sections, they work well together. The Voices: Voice 1 is a very Good Acapella Bass, Voice 2 is is a good lyric, Voice 3 is a FRUITFULL Beat, Voice 4 is Mr.Error again (first he appeared in anxiety, now this mod, how strange....), Voice 5 is another electronic sound. and just like EVERY. OTHER. SECTION, these Voices work very well together. The Bonuses: Bonus 1 is very good, Obviously when it comes to the visuals, it's not that perfect but it's serviceable. BUT MAN, IT DOES SOUND AMAZING. Bonus 2 is also very great, HECK: IT EVEN GAVE US A TRUMPET POLO! Designs: all the designs are good, that's all I have to say. Overall, I'll give this mod a 10/10 This has got to be one of the BEST Streets Themed Mod I have ever seen, and heck, It's not even made by Person From Brazil himself! It's like when take 3 of the Mediocore Mods that came out this year, combine all of the good in them and make it a mod, and man, it works. I haven't detected a single flaw in anything about this mod. this is a TRAVIS QUALITY-TYPE MOD AND I'M HERE FOR IT. I love this mod, I really do, and I hope that in the future: People will learn from you (seriously, like....Lexlim, R.K and Jado can learn a LOT from you).
