It can 2 frame certain recoveries that snap the ledge a bit late like G&W up b, Mega Man up b etc.

Wasn't canceling the leaf shield via picking up items patched out some time ago?
No. A few different cancels, namely Forward Item Toss while using Leaf Shield, were patched out around the time Joker was released. Since then, none of the Leaf Shield Cancels have been patched All of the cancels shown in the video are possible as of current patch
