Useful video!!! The holes for the SMA connectors should probably be 1-2mm further to the outside. The heatshrink-wrapped section of the SMA feedthroughs bumps against the plastic screw posts with the chosen location, as seen at 19:59. Some feedthroughs are not long enough to properly engage the antennas when both a washer and a nut are used, yours don't seem to have this problem. Finally, the length of the pigtails on this particular model appear to be a bit much for the application 29:43. At least on Amazon US there are antennas that seem to have shorter pigtails, for example "2 x 8dBi WiFi RP-SMA Male Antenna 2.4GHz 5.8GHz Dual Band +2 x 15CM U.FL/IPEX to RP-SMA Female Pigtail Cable for Mini PCIe Card Wireless Routers, PC Desktop, Repeater, FPV UAV Drone and PS4 Build". Did you find meaningful improvement in the signal in mountainous terrain, with some impediments in the VLOS?
