Welcome! Hope you will be very happy, here! Do you know, Poços de Caldas? Is a city inside of a vulcanion crater! Is a beautiful city, with culture, nature, coffee and olives farms! The most important thing is the people who will welcome you with great affection!
Thanks for the warm welcome! I haven't been to Poços de Caldas yet, but it sounds fascinating-being inside a volcano crater definitely adds a twist! Can’t wait to visit!
My Brazilian husband of 5 years just bought a condo in Navegantes SC which will be ready in April. I’m the US husband trying to figure out what the best path is in order to receive an RNE card to open bank accounts in Brazil. At a minimum, I need a temporary visa or permanent residence. We will not be staying in Brazil for 180+ days as I don’t want double taxation on my US Income. The condo we bout was around 180k for the condo box but we still need to add all the appliances and furniture. I wonder if the “investment amount” includes the amount you will spend adding the furniture and appliances as that will get me over the R1M figure but the price of the condo itself is less than that.
I was thinking that I would apply for Permanent Residence but it seems like you need a Visa approved first and then you apply for permanent residence. I’m a little confused on if I need a Visa first or if I can apply for Permanent Residence first. I do have a tourist visa that will be needed in 2025. Just trying to figure all this out.
It sounds like an exciting time with the new condo in Navegantes! For obtaining an RNE card, since you're looking at investment-related residency, Brazil does require a substantial investment in real estate, but typically, this doesn't include the cost of furnishing or outfitting the property. You would need to invest at least R$1 million in certain areas like real estate to qualify directly for this type of visa. For your situation, consulting with a Brazilian immigration lawyer could provide tailored advice, especially considering your tax concerns and residency plans. This would help clarify the best steps forward for both your banking needs and residency status in Brazil. Safe travels and happy planning!
Absolutely, it can get tricky! You'll need to apply for a specific visa first, then go for permanent residence once you're in Brazil with that visa. Your tourist visa is just for visiting, so it won't count towards residency. A chat with an immigration lawyer could really clear things up and make sure you're on the right track. Best of luck with everything!
so happy to hear from you and your life in brazil! good to hear that you doing fine :) and yesss give us more vlogs and videos in general hihi I'm looking forward to it!
Thank you! Will do! :D
It’s the biggest in the American continent. It’s bigger compared to the so called October festivals in the US where they cannot even speak one word German and celebrate it as a Disney show. Hidden history..The Germans in the US were treated bad and by time as traitors compared to the Germans who immigrated to Brazil who still kept their cultures moving forward though under pressure to “assimilate in mainstream Brazilian culture” whatever that is. In the US we know “mainstream culture” is corporatized.
Yeah, I really enjoyed this one
Hey you! I'm going to Curitiba with my boyfriend next month. We are from upstate PR but not so aware of nice friendly places to go and things to see there. Do you recommend us anything? Thanks
Definitely go to Barigui Park! It’s soooo Beautiful!
@@TheBrazilVenture thank you I bet it is! I hope we find interesting gay friendly spots there, we might meet by chance
Yeah, there are great bars like Janela Bar or Folia 😊👍
@@TheBrazilVenture Thats good to know
I have Type 2 diabetes. I started out with Rybelsus 3mg at the start of this year. After a month, my doctor upgraded it to 7 mg. Another month after that, it became 14mg. Now 8 months on 14 mg. and I have lost 33 pounds so far which I'm happy with. Only 17 lbs more to go. My A1C has dropped from 9.6 to 6.2 which is great, and my doctor is taking me off Metformin when I reach 5.7 - yes, finally. I love Rybelsus.
I have listened to stories from people whose weight plateau'd after reaching a certain level. In those situations, I recommend re-appraising your diet. Experiment with alternative fasting. I tried skipping dinner and it worked. Uncomfortable at first, but stick with it. Your body adjusts. Also, try switching to mostly plant-based instead of meat-based. I still work out, run and lift weights - and I'm almost 70.
Me too! I’ll make an update soon 😊👍
Love Brasil.
Me too ;)
Hummm! Fiquei com fome
It was delicious ;)
I think all foreigners must be in Santa Catarina That's what I see here As a Brazilian, from São Paulo have never been to Santa Catarina 😂
I love Santa Catarina too ^^
I am Brazilian, I live in São Paulo, life is good her to me, I cant complain... I was thinking to move to Europe, in my mind there life is better, but I am surprise with so many people wanting to come here
Yeah, I'm not sure if that's true. In the end you can make most countries a wonderful home :)
What about permanent residency? Without investing ? Just spending four years in Brazil?
I'm not sure if thats possible, unfortunately.
Lovely video. How long does it take to get the citizenship after permanent residency? Much love from the UK 🇬🇧
I think it can be pretty quick, but I'm not sure how long it takes exactly.
@@TheBrazilVentureThanks for your response
@Oponu-Ayirada anytime 😊
N sei se ja foi em bairros afastados , tem o Santa Felicidade ao Umbara q tem o lago azul , bem legal e diferente
I love these neighbourhoods :)
I'm looking at moving to Brazil, my top 3 locations I'm looking at are Campina Grande, Itabuna and Caruara, not sure if you know anything about those places, my main motivation for moving is temperature, so I am looking for something warmer (like warmer than sao paulo), and I'm really interested in geology and growing my own food so I don't think I want to go to a huge metro.
You Chose very hot places
@@izabela3512 thanks for the feedback, my most comfortable temperature is around 27, but I am fine going down to 20 or up to 34, so I am guessing it might be hotter than 34 sometimes but I prefer some days above 34 than days below 20, currently I live in Durban in south africa and it's way too cold for me.
Like if I look at this week's weather between here and there I want to be there 😅
@@AlizabelaRosa The good news is that these places of your choice have a lot of wind, so 40 degree days will be comfortable. I was in London for 2 days and I miss the sun, I think the temperature helps contribute to a good mood
Yeah, I would defienetly check out Bahia for that! It's a beautiful state :)
Can you talk about the digital nomad visa or getting a job with a Brazilian company and getting a work visa? I think buying real estate or putting down even $30k would be difficult, but as a senior software engineer I'm hoping I can get a visa without needing a big cash investment.
Unfortunately I have no experience with the digital nomad visa myself...
Why do white immigrants call themselves "expats"? You are an immigrant like all other humans who move to a country that they were not born in.
…and I’d love an update
Will do!
Hello. I watched your video (thank you!) for the first time over a week ago. Since I’m in currently in Mexico and can buy this over the counter, I bought the meds and started a week ago. I too am enjoying the effects on my brain, how it’s influencing the food I’m gravitating towards and how I’m able to eat treats in small quantities. I’m not positive but I think I lost 5 lbs. I bought a scale a few days into the week. I’m eating whole foods and exercising. I feel quite well, no real side effects at 3 mg. I’m very sensitive to a lot of medications and am amazed how well I’m tolerating this. I am looking for a community of people who are having a positive experience. So far, you are it! So I keep watching this….
Totally agree. I also love the experience. I'll make an update soon :)
what do you mean by your husband, you mean your wife right?
Haha, no, obviously not! I mean husband :D
As a Brazilian, I find it funny how the English and US people, when they move to another country, call themselves "expats" instead of immigrants. But when someone comes to their country, they're called immigrants or aliens, not expats. Think about why that is...
It is. I made a video about it: th-cam.com/video/Io6ukgfDDLQ/w-d-xo.html
Love it. Now do one with rail networks :)
Thanks for the love! I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video. I'll keep that idea for a rail networks episode in mind!

Thank you!
Hi, you are doing a great job 👍 are you on Facebook and what's your username?
Hi, I really like your video can I have your WhatsApp number and Facebook user name please?
I’m also on the oral form of Ozempic. I had to resort to the compounded version because it would be $1100 a month for me to buy Rybellses. Yes, I’m in the US. I’ve been on it for 2 months now. You’re right, I have been so shocked how well it controls my cravings. I haven’t had any side effects either so far but I am only on 1.5 mg. It’s not really a “magic pill” but it makes it so much easier to stick to a low calorie diet. The book Magic Pill was great!
I agree 😊👍 it really works well for me

desinstabilidade essa que é criada pelos estados unidos que sempre nos golpeia. O primeiro em 1964 e o último em 2016 com a Dilma. Antes de falarem sobre isso, lembrem desse fato importante.
I think 2016 was a pretty internal affair 😅 But for sure, other countries lobby their interests within Brazil.

Great to know about this. I wish you success! There are many many kinds of medicine you cannot buy over the counter in Brazil. Antibiotics is one of them. Anti-depressants and other brain related drugs cannot be bought either. Plus anything with the black tag on the box. What we commonly call controlled medicine. Many of those are associated with addictions.
Ah, that makes total sense! Interesting! Thank you so much 😊👍
