As a video/sound editor, piano and synthesizer player, I want to share my appreciation for the early cinema period and music from the belle époque and the 1920's. I upload the movies from my private archive, after adding and synchronizing a music track, performed by me, using a piano and a synthesizer. The music track emulates the experience of seeing movies during that period, the favored instrument is the piano, sometimes the organ. Orchestras were only used during special presentations like premieres and sometimes during press screenings. Enjoy!

I notice that from 14:05 to 17:13 there’s a really great piano version of the Italian song “Chiribiribin” Does anyone know who plays this version?
This piano arrangement of Pestalozza's song was made by a non credited pianist circa 1916. The arrangement was copyrighted by Angelus, Wilcox and White, a piano roll manufacturer. It's possible that it was made by Percy Wenrich. The actual short's music track was recorded & synchronized by our sound editor Ricardo Guzman.

Arbuckle was a comic genius
During the years I seen bits and pieces of this movie but now I will watch it. I read the reason they had silent movies was they couldn't sync the words spoken to what the actor was trying to to say look what year this came out. Finally they were able to do it.
This man had fantastic taste in robes. Just magnificent.

Interesting/entertaining. Enjoy viewing 👀 the cars/store front windows/vaudeville theater/police call box/neon signs wall telephone of that era-!!!🤗. Amazing how many " Keystone cops fit into that trolly car-!!!😳. Piano music enhanced the different scenes
One of my favorites with Chaplin as the henpecked husband who has to mind the baby while his wife cooks and cleans.
His physical stunts were the greatest. I hope that some younger people see these types of films. Such great performers shouldn’t be forgotten.
