Hello, Thank You for watching the video. Hotels are a very personal choice and we can give opinion about the ones we visited. Sunny's Serenity is a nice and comfortable Hotel. You will love the silence, peace and homely food here. For your stay, Sunny Serenity's has invidual cottages which you might have seen in our video. It is around 4 to 5 kms from Gokarna beach and reasonably priced. Apart from this, there is Godavari Hotel which looked modern and had a decent Udipi Restaurant below it. Also, it is close to the bus stand. We hope you find this information helpful.

You can carry outside food, for example in your car or bag but this can not be eaten on the ferry. As the ferry has an in house restaurant and cafe, hence outside food is not allowed on the ferry. Hello, There are 3 tolls between Pune and Mahabaleshwar. The first one is the on the NH 48, on the outskirts of Pune at Khed Shivapur which will cost you Rs 115 one way. And there are 2 local tolls in Mahabaleshwar. 1 is before you enter Panchgani and the other before Venna Lake. These both are valid for multiple entries for around 5 to 7 days. Hope this helps. !

Hello, To travel to Gokarna from Goa, is a comfortable coastal drive all along the NH 66. It does not have any hilly terrain drive. Hence, it would be wonderful drive along Palolem Beach, Galgi Baga Beach, Karwar and then Gokarna. Karwar is also a nice place to visit on the way. Have a great road trip. Hello, there is no particular Ghat even on the short cut road which we took from Belgaum > Kittur > Alnavar > Haliyal > Yellapur > Agasur > Gokarna . It's just that it goes through the forest but the roads were good and one can drive easily. The other alternative to avoid the forest road is to move ahead of Kittur : Belgaum > Kittur > Hubli > Yellapur > Gokarna. Hubli to Yellapur will be a Highway, part of NH 52. But we would still suggest try the forest road if driving during the day (not after 6 30 pm). You will love it. Another tip would be if you want to avoid village roads then after Yellapur do not take a left from Agasur Village and go straight towards Ankola to join the NH 66. Again, the village roads from Agasur are beautiful. Try if it is possible. None of the above suggested will be difficult to drive and infact will be shorter. Feel free to ask further queries if you still have doubts. Hope this helps ! 🙂

On this trip, you will come across 2 ghats. The first one, Satara Ghat is a one way road and the curves are smooth hence easy to drive. The second one, Pasarni Ghat, from Wai to Panchgani, is a 2 way road and slightly steep. We think it wouldn't be a problem for most drivers. Just be careful of the vehicles coming down on the opposite side. Hope this helps 🙂

Hello, a Scooty or Two Wheelers are allowed and can go on this road. It's a National Highway upto Wai with a lot of heavy vehicles... the total distance is around 130 Kms hence if you are experienced enough to handle a scooty here, you can, but we wouldn't advise the same, owing to the weight of the scooty, road conditions and traffic conditions. For car please tell

Yes this route has 2 tolls, each of Rs. 47 currently and if you return on the same day half toll charges will apply on return. But this is quite less than Rs. 240 of Pune Mumbai Expressway which does not have half toll charges on return on same day. Hope this helps 👍

Yes there is a route from Pune to Lonavala without toll but it is significantly longer and through hills and villages. Go from Pune to Hingewadi and from Chikhalgaon go ahead towards Tikona but before that you will a get turn to go Tiger Point of Lonavala. This route is without toll, roads are not that great but its scenic. We do not advise to go on this route at night due to various reasons.

The roads via Old Highway are tar roads and in great condition with good dividers in between. Hope this helps 👍

Distances of locations vary in Lonavala. For short distances, you can take rickshaws or walk if possible. For longer distances, there are local cabs / rickshaws available on rent, from hourly basis to full day rent. You can hire Ola / Uber to reach lonavala and you can then hire local cabs or rickshaw after reaching here, depending on your itinerary. Hope this helps !

January is also a good month to travel to Mahabaleshwar. It will be cool and pleasant. You will get Strawberries and other berries as well. Early January is cold like December . Late January is slightly warmer than early January though it will be pleasant . The flow of water at Lingmala waterfall must have decreased. All the other places will still be good to visit.
