Dude I first heard Everything I Long For almost 30 years ago. Just stumbled across you again. Life flies by

When I was a little girl I listed to this song on the computer in my grandmas basement. I’m now nearing 30 with 3 kids of my own and just remembered the chorus and found the song. Such strong nostalgia.

What's wild is how nicely his archival footage lines up with the song. I half expected there to be color footage of him in a basement playing music and maybe him hugging his daughter with his wife in the picture somehow.

Fell in love with this song because of its use in a documentary about my hometown. This song came out before I was born. But it's so lovely and comforting.

This song always takes my brain back to a joyous, reckless youth. nights at pubs filled with joy, heartache, the tireless passion of the imortal and ignorant. Every dizzying moment meant everything and nothing. I really thought I'd have more time but it makes a fool of every one of us. Hold tight to the wonderful unfounded optimism.

Thank you for the great story, and the amazing musical experience. Really loved the acoustics in the church venue, and you used it to its fullest when you played under the dome. Keep on going on, buddy. Give 'er.

Cool to hear their influence on Tree's Lounge. I loved this song as a kid and few years back I bartended for a little repress show they put on. I was on cloud nine to finally be able to see them. Awesome to hear you cover this.
