WOW those are some gorgeous knives. I love that Cub River knife a lot.
The drop point crusher is a better upgraded field knife.
You asked about me selling the Field Knife. Contact me on instagram and we can discuss it
Will you consider selling this?
In all honesty no, unless it was a ridiculuous offer

Why didnt you put all the winklers on the table to compair?
I have a video called Winkler Knives Brand Overview
@@KnivesoftheRoundTable which winkler is your favorite?
The only knife that matches the quality of my Sebenza. Love it! 💪🏻🇨🇦
With very different actions!!
Whst type of sheath does it come with,is it good quality
It comes with a Kydex sheath with decent quality, I just hate Kydex
@@KnivesoftheRoundTable ,oh ok ty
@@KnivesoftheRoundTable ,go for a good leather one
How much is that running in price
It runs about $500 usd
begg design?
It sure looks like it but I do not have information that it was his
Nice grind.
I have a thing for compound grinds
Nice collection. Close to $2000 dollars in knives. 😁 you went with expensive handles. I dare say you have the collectors bug. Got get out and use those beauties. I see you prefer thick blades. I have the Bravo 1.25 in 3V which is a slimmer stock. But it takes a beating but is a slicer. How is the ergoes on the BRK Sentry? I have recently purchased an Iron River in Magnacut & for a pocket knife the ergoes are ok. It fills 4 fingers comfortably. To put it in perspective, the White River M1 Caper has the best ergoes of any neck or pocket knives for which I set as the bar to meets. See ya in the backwoods.
Thank You! I dont get to go out as much as I would like, probably 4 times a year. I do like blade that I can baton with, it is one of my primary uses. The ergos on the Sentry are decent for a large hand and great for a medium hand, its just a bit small around
Does the forward choil help or does it get in the way? that forward choil seems pointless. The handle is already large enough to accommodate a full hand and the handle has it's own choil. Might as well just have the blade edge go all the way up to the handle.
Wow such a thorough and thoughtful review. Really liked the way you explained your thoughts on these knives.
Hey! Thank yoi so much, glad you liked it and found it useful!
I really like the bark river sheath I carry mine every single day you just have to put the knife in the sheath and leave it there The leather will mold around the knife. It’s a little bulky at first, but it breaks in very nicely.
I think their sheaths are very well made, I just like them contoured to the knife. In ither words, the sheath ends in a point not a square
Hey, I really appreciate the video, and you had great points! just to adress the sheath design, I tried to design it as small as possible so it would be as easy to carry and get lost in the pocket as possible, so thats why I dont do a ramp on the spine. It is designed to be opened by putting the thumb on the plane where my logo is. That being said, I as a sole maker of this I must take in to consideration how users acctualy use the things I make, and your points are more then valid. Also I have some costumers who make aftermaket leather sheaths for these! I feel like most of the people have very bad experience with N690, as they encountered too soft, gummy, hard to sharpend (hard to remove the burr) and easily dulliung mass produced N690. I harden mine to 61-62HRC, and I love it, it stays sharp, its very stainless, irs easy to sharpen, that is all I want in a working knife. The Angis and the bigger knife (Varnas) both are available in N690 and Elmax for people who want high end steels.
Looking forward to checking out your Varnas in Elmax
It’s more of a feedback to me rather than review, but still much appreciated. I’m really surprised thou how calmly you describing this beast 😊 Have you sharpened it already? Would like to hear your thoughts on m390. Cheers
The Ultratech is the "standard" size in the Microtech lineup. Its hard to describe it as a beast when I know that something like the combat troodon or the halo is out there. Dont get me wrong its a "beast of a knife" for sure, its just in the context of microtech, they make at least 5 larger OTFs
Yes, you SHOULD sell it to me immediately. Great idea!!! Lol

Wooow!!! God damn it, this Hinderer is incredible and unique!
Thank you. I still cant believe I snagged it
This is such a descriptive review of winkler knives that most knife don’t reviewers understand. Thx for the meticulous explanation, especially explaining the way he grinds his blade before heating it. I have never understood this, hopefully I said this correctly. Thanks again!
Thank you for the kind words! And yes, you said it correctly
I just bought one. Very nice knive.
You will not regret it!
@@KnivesoftheRoundTable thanks.
Please sell me the Satori or Snafu. Rassenti is & always has been my favorite designer and I’ve never been able to get my hands on one lol. His original custom integral model blew me away years & years ago and is the entire reason I got into collecting.
Contact me on instagram and we can talk
Does anyone know who the OEM of the CKFs is?
I am not certain. Ive looked but could not find the information
Adamas is maybe benchmade's best product line imo. Choices are cruwear and magnacut at an optimal 63-65 hrc and it's somehow their least expensive despite being more knife.
I would agree on the Adamas line. The Mini Adamas is Benchmades bes folder IMO
@@KnivesoftheRoundTable Got mine in black. Looking to get the magnacut and cf, planning around a demko ad20.
Personally I don't think its worth it to get a S90v blade over the S30v. I have both steels in other knives, yes you will have to sharpen the s30v more often but its also a bit easier to sharpen too. I have this knife in the s30v also and do like the sheath too.Very nice review.
Thank you. I can see someone preferring the S30v version.
Amazing looking knife
Its awesome and a beast. Very much ToddBegg
I like your Spyderco collection. The PM 2 Tanto looks really nice.
Thank you! Its been a challenge with some of those
Beautiful! A must have. Let the saving, and hunting, begin. This brand is a Unicorn in my country (Australia)
Its a great one for sure!
Another excellent video Marco.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
I'd argue that a flat blade like that might make it possible to retain a knife in hand while drawing and firing a pistol. It's why I bought the MDV Plus One.
Cant argue with that use
To my knowledge, creely keeps everything in state even the precision series. I love my mako
Could be
Good video explaining what and why you choose different steels. Personally I care way more about ht and blade geometry than I do about the steel, but steel comes in 3rd in the list. If I had to choose one steel for everything as my favorite, cruwear would be it. I have a edc fixed blade from Deep cuts cutlery in cruwear with a great ht at 65rc and for me it's just so good. Super thin, cuts amazing, though enough for my needs, good edge retention because of the ht, and plenty corrosion resistant for my uses. Also like that spyderco is using more cruwear too.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
is it good for self defense?
Probably. Without a crossguard you just need to have a very good grip on it. Othereise you slice your hand in the plunge
Once Broken in medfords can be some of the finest , smoothest actions out there... Chris Reeve? no, but smooth absolutely.. they need to be handled and opened and closed quote a bit but my On Belays and Proxima's are like butter.
I dont disagree, but usually the larger ones, Paetorian Genesis and up
beautiful collection, a lot of great knives some of which i wish i had in mine for sure, thanks for the video btw if you have not tried the Medford Slim midi, also the m48 are great cutters and are not bad in hand, the slim midi is not very ergonomic but super slim and slicey
HEY Jerad! I've followed you channel for a long time! I was very excited to see you found my channel. I sent people your way in my Ace Grand video for the lockbar access mod. Thank you for the kind words, they certainly mean more coming from a guy who know his stuff! I will check out the Slim Midi for sure!
The fit and finish is my biggest complaint, at least between now and 2022.
I cant disagree with that
All of those mods and you have a stock clip 😂
This is true lol smh
The sheaths focus on functionality. They are all AMBIDEXTROUS. If you're a lefty, you don't have to go out and by a new sheath for your brand new knife. Yes, it isn't as stylish, but the function is there for everyone.
Thats true. I guess I am a rightist!
Hey I know I’m two years late but… the reason he designs the sheath the way it is is so you can use the mini thumb ramp to break the knife out of the sheath with out ever putting your hand over it. Also it’s to hold onto while you use the tail end of your knife as a window breaker, while holding the sheathed end.
I see!
Ngl that’s the first time I’ve heard someone say to not hit the notification
I was wondering when someone would comment on that!
my only knock on bark river knives
I would agree. Many of the latest sheaths are generic and boxy, seems like they want to use the same sheath design for several knives
hope they hear their customers and change things up i always like a kydex option@@KnivesoftheRoundTable
Supersteels arent necesarry for most working knives. They tend to chip much easier. Look at Esee and how they talk crap about their own S35VN knife lol. They didnt want to make it. Even 1095 will out last most of these "supersteels" in terms of toughness.
I would agree with the supersteels not being necessary. That said, at this pricepoint, most people, including me, expect a more modern steel. I do think this steel Winkler uses does very well, but like I said in the video, I can only imagine what he could do with a more advanced steel
Ive carried mine in a tech bag, and any comfort complaints are resolved by function and durability. This knife has functioned outside the scope of a cutting tool and has been very handy
I think durability is top notch on this one for sure
Do you still have that general? and if so is there any chance you would sell it?
I still have it but I like it quite a bit. In conversations with the Mast General Store they told me that more are coming. Keep an eye out
I haven’t received a Bark river knife in some 8 years that didn’t come with a micro-bevel...Just Say’n
Maybe a very very micro bevel. On mine it looks like there isnt a secondary bevel the way I see it in folders
Excellent, thanks for a look into the world of knives.
Glad you liked it!
What is the name of the dagger at the beginning of the video? Thanks for sharing.
Microtech SBD
Hi thx for your video ! Your Bk knives have just the perfect size , i have the bravo 1 rampless and he is amazing and so elegant !
Thank you! Glad you liked it. The Bravo 1 is top notch for sure!
How do i order 1 exactly?
