hello brother, I also plan to go on this trek in August. We are 3 individuals planning to start from Akshu side and end the trek in Gulabgarh in. Kishtwar on our own . Hello there Akarsh! I am a geologist here doing a PhD on the geology of zanskar. I am considering doing a trek to Hagshu La from Akshu this July and am looking for a guide and some porters to help me carry some rocks! Did you go with a guide? Just curious if you might be willing to share the contact details of your guide if they were good?!
For a custom surveying trip, you would find the guides and helpers at Akshu village. Try to ask any village resident for the whereabouts of Rigzen Acho.
