Is it weird that I often picture Cleric as a Wojack priest while I read? This was great, I am only just starting my Aspect-Emperor reread so I'm looking forward to picking up what nonmen lore I missed the first time. This helps a lot, I missed so much of that my first read. That bit about their sacred text that can only be read backwards is mind boggling. How long would it take to read the entire thing? Has any living nonman read the entire text? The bit about their depth perception being of greater importance to their vision, that explains why their artwork seems layered work on top of work. These books are so heckin good

The weaving of spoken words, the slow, somber, haunting, lilting, unknowable lyrics of the song behind your voice, the ceaseless march of images of the Nonmen and their world, all comes together in a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. I had never heard of this series, but now, having seen your work, I do not know that I could forgive myself for not bringing every volume into my library and reading them with the reverence of scripture.
