That’s quite the assumption to make that he only plays the game for his rules. lol. The problem is if you let cards just exist and come up with more cards to counter them that makes the game even more unbalanced. Oh let’s just add something more powerful to counter this powerful card. Then that card becomes overpowered. Your logic doesn’t make sense in the long term.

@@tydran12 All leaders they have their way of playing... If add limits in their cards, this leaders they cannot be played at all... TOPKU for exapmle... For example if pilaf is the problem, then make a card to add the drop in his player deck or ramp the player from his drop... So no more pilaf... Broly his has a lot counter cards.. Absolute lighting, Zenoh, Golden Frieza, a lot cards for no KO, bardock... So isnt a problem... Just the way to players play isnt right... For this reason broly stay as problem... In androids GMs maybe they must make some cards for other deck for stop them, something like red frost... I didnt say GMs make more powerfull cards, just some cards -solutions for the problems... When this cards availables is it in our hand if we put them in our decks or if we put the pilaf-broly or another problem card in our decks.. That i say. And some last.... I like more the game if one colour counter the other... Now some colours they dont have counters... Leaders have counters.... I dont want to see only blue vegeta or androids.. If limit pilaf or broly other blue and green leaders is dead. All colours is make for one reason and any color is good in this... If limit their cards... So they didnt do that they make for.

By that logic, if Kefla didn’t get limited, Topku would still be a Tier 0 deck in the current format because of all the ToP support given in Set 3… especially that Cabba that acts like Glimpse and can bring Keflas back from drop! This isn’t an issue of ban/ not ban, this is an issue with how Bandai constructs cards… they aren’t putting enough time into testing before releasing the product to ensure stuff isn’t overtuned… so because of Bandais shortsightedness, that’s why bans/limits currently exist Now I’m not one who necessarily advocates for bans either but this video was a thought experiment just seeing what a banlist could look like based on what the previous banlist reasons were and what cards THE COMMUNITY are discussing should be hit… this isn’t about what I want at all lol

The support you said TOPKU took is because GMs limit Kefla. And what is the logic if not bans and limit TOPKU tier 0??? Always someone leader it will be at this tier... Now is Vegeta and Android because that, and now we search banished their cards... If this cards ban or limit someone else leader he going to tier 0 and then we search which cards from this leader ban??? What logic is that??? If a leader with his cards is Tier 0 let it here and support just the other leaders to become in that position... So simple... No Bans no limit... Because that ruined the game and some leader after that they cannot be played at all... For example, all we say piccolo need buff, but if he take that buff it will be Tier 0 eazy because in late is so powerful very difficult management this op attacks... If ramping faster then it cannot be manage at all and then we search for limit cards?? This isn't right... If TOPKU is good to play Kefla let it like this and make something else for other leaders answer.

You realize these booster boxes are made in advance right? They don’t release a set and are like, “ok Set 2 has released, what’s next?” More than likely, Set 3 was being thought up after Set 1 released and Set 2 was in the final stages of development… so yes, it still would’ve been Tier 0 if it wasn’t for the fact that the community reacted to how strong Kefla was, Bandai knew what was coming down the pipeline… they PLANNED the Set 3 support to work in conjunction with Set 2, Set 3 support wasn’t an answer to the Kefla ban, it’s not that hard to understand

The idea was applying previous ban logic to cards within the current meta and seeing what applies based on that, so while I wouldn’t necessarily advocate for a big limit on Broly right now, the logic as to why he would get one still applies to him The Piccolo stuff I think really helps him not get hit since nothing in that package is great enough to warrant use over him and until another viable boss monster is introduced, I don’t think he’ll be touched

@corrosivebullet I understand the logic behind it, but I just don't think you should use the same logic that was used to ban/limit a 1 or 4 cost to a boss monster that costs 8 to play. Also usually the only card being played during that turn. Maybe if green was as bad as it was in set 1, then maybe. But at that point the game was too new to do any of that

Hitting Broly isn’t bad either. Opens more options for Green Big Bosses.

​@@justinso8231that depends on if they reveal any more good green boss monster. 7 cost Gohan kinda sucks, fbo2 is okay, and other cell is leader lock so until that happens Broly will be here to stay

Also multiple of broly in hand hurts green so no need to limit or ban the card. In a game which is a fast pace green need to strategize to reach 8c

I don’t know, it sounds fine on my end… I lower all my music files to -32 dB which is more than half its total volume, I can lower it more but not sure if that’s gonna be too quiet I’ll give it a try next video though to see

If you’re gonna be one of the main channels ppl watch for this game then it needs to be lowered for your voice to shine. I think pilaf is strong but does not need a restriction at this point. I mean other than vegeta leader is any other blue deck topping? Blue is strong but its vegeta that’s broken, if you limit pilaf then all of blue will just be bottom tier

@BerserkZeroYT I’m aware, that bits just me hoping they adapt to not be as restrictive… I feel the game could benefit from Yugiohs approach to Ban/Limits (Banned, Limited 1, Semi-Limited 2, Unlimited) then rotate that roster every set or 2 Would really expand play, make every season unique and different and won’t heavily restrict cards that may not need to be fully restricted

Trunks relies on Pilaf as well, however his leader effect isn’t nearly as oppressive as Vegeta’s 15k boost to power, his is more utility which balances Pilaf more

Absolutely, he seemed lackluster upon his reveal but if the majority of the deck is doing this, he’ll be great!

My views on him have been due to lack of interaction against him so I only placed him in Strong Tier due to that… but currently Y Vegeta is undefeated as of Day 1 at Bandai Card Fest so I’m definitely intrigued to see where that goes

he is correct in that yellow vegeta is underrated. imo he belongs at the top of strong or top tier. its a tough matchup for blue too.​@@corrosivebullet

Yeah Beerus can struggle into Blue but as a positive, Beerus also heavily controls Blue back with all his minusing effects… kinda balances out each others boards lol So while more often than not he’s on the back spin, he’s at least not making it easy for Blue

Definitely one of the better decks in the format, just sadly Black has little removal against Jiren, it’s slow compared to Droids and Blue just removes everything you play Bardock has the exact same struggles though, so that’s why I put them together on the list… hopefully Set 4 will offer more diversity between the 2 and some more removal tools

For which decks other than green is it autolose?

@@j1vaTV yellow has immense struggle into jiren. Blue almost auto wins jiren, as well as beerus. Other red decks are even in matchup and black is imo player skill

Yeah Jirens pretty good, I think a lot of the mentality around him stems from his SR and how easy it is to remove him without KOing But Blue has it best with its bouncing effects., green can ramp or KO/ Big Bang Attack, and Beerus can minus him to death but Black and Yellow lack options to get around it… only half the matchup can really get around him and even then, it gets so much harder if they are able to get 2 on the board at once

Jiren is good and can pop off, but honestly with blue being top tier right now Jiren just loses to the top deck. Any good deck can’t auto lose to the meta deck. If blue didn’t get what it got this set and was just as good as set 2 I think Jiren could’ve been the best deck, it would keep green in check and have a even matchup to black

@@EmbracedDestiny I've playtested blue vs jiren with a very skilled player and our results show its pretty much a 50/50 matchup. Whoever goes first wins. So I don't think blue autowins against Jiren.

Majin buu can beat blue vegeta /androids most times as well

Good correction on the Turn to Candy, absolutely right on that! I placed Buu where he is at because what he as a leader does with the majority of his Wicked Soul/ Evil Wizard is not good enough compared to the other leaders, and it’s not like you can run him without them since that stunts his main gimmick Buu shines when he plays the generic Yellow stuff like Majin Vegeta and Barrier Buu, but those cards are used in other decks and those decks just work better because they have other tools that fit those cards better That said though, locals isn’t a bad tier to place in as there are niche ways to play those decks and have them work for you! But you aren’t seeing Buu excelling in tournament play when Vegeta and even Frieza is just better leaders all around

This explanation goes right in line of where he is misunderstood His leader ability is the most underutilized skill, use this mostly only get draw power, Babadis and cantrips, or barrier Babadi for draw power on opponents turn His stun locks mid game are super powerful with the right build He can take out blue vegetas and andriods

@dondraper2376 so here’s my thought process and personal experience with Blue Vegeta into Buu (as well as knowledge of how others in tournament play him) The only 3 cost most people play in Vegeta is Vegito, so when a Barrier Babidi is played, we EASILY play around him with things like 1c Mai… and the draw power in Buu only goes so far because things like 1c Zamasu, 4c Gohan, etc. so half of that draw power just goes to replace hand and doesn’t actually benefit Buu in terms of combo (which is half of what cantrips provide) As a Blue player main, I’ve never had an issue playing around Buu, can’t even remember a match where I have lost to a Buu (could always be awful deck construction but I can’t say that’s every case) Now Droids though is understandable, as Buu is able to lock troublesome cards down with ease by freezing or KOing 4cs with Final Explosion and Yellow was always Green’s worst matchup HOWEVER that’s entirely dependent on who gets their curve faster and in that regard, Droids has a much faster tempo than any other deck in the game… in terms of locking mid game, again other decks have access to the same tools as Buu except for field which is one lock, that doesn’t necessarily make Buu better outright though imo No disrespect to your thought process, I’m always down to discuss and get other people’s perspective! Having a discussion is half the fun imo! But the video is based off of my personal experiences and I personally just can’t say that Buu is outright better than the Top decks on my list… could make an argument it could be placed a little higher though

@@corrosivebullet yeah bad deck construction and lack of understanding of this deck. The draw power I was mentioned is not the only strength I was referring to, it’s also the stun lock from the spaceship field card, like early game it’s locking up your crit vegeta etc , lot tricks to play into vegeta blue that people do not do. Those are examples But yellow Vegeta is definitely best yellow, beating your deck at least 50:50 for sure. Have you played against some good yellow Vegeta And buu the way I’m playing it is better than frieza Frieza restand is not doing much this time around, just promoting hitting face more 2c frieza, rest or Energy absorbstion easily to coolers etc

That is fair, just feel like Starterku is undertuned at this point and just doesn’t do enough compared to other Red leaders … at least with this effect, you are getting a 10k difference into a battle card which feels nice

That’s a good point with Drawku! It is only on your turn but sometimes, that extra 10k difference in power is all you need

Thanks! Yeah the GT stuff is great but I just feel if you aren’t running SOME of the crew stuff, you’ll only ever get so much out of the deck… Goku is a more generic leader so you can build that deck however and it can work for you

Oh don’t get it twisted, Blue no matter the deck destroys Jiren in most cases! But it’s heavily dependent on if GB finds his pieces and since a lot of his deck is search dependent, he can easily whiff if your luck of bad (this is coming from a GB Stan, I love GB lol) and he’s heavily reliant on it which hurts him Also Jiren is in the Top percentile of tournaments based on data I’ve seen, he got first place at the UKTc Regionals so I think he’s plenty good right now

I can see Rumshi being useful in a control build plus he’s a 30k to facilitate Jiren’s leader effect… I don’t hate this, will definitely look into incorporating that!

Oh yeah he stand little chance against blue lol next gameplay video will be one of the few examples or times where he’ll have a decent matchup against it, but heavily depends on how your opponent plays

No I’m still of the mindset of Frieza staying top tier, as his ability is more consistent and not as restrictive… that said, Vegeta will be a lot better going into next set and much more viable now than he was before!

@@corrosivebullet I just think the 3 drop vegeta with the ko protection is so good especially cuz black now can ko and red has a lot of ko cards and even yellow has a lot of ko so I just think yellow wants to keep things rested

@thekillercub274 KO effects were great in Set 1 but now there are so many ways to get around KOing something that the Vegeta only benefits you against certain matchups Doesn’t make him a bad card, just isn’t as good especially since you can still battle it

@thekillercub274 hmmmmm debateable… I think we are at a point where if you wanted to step away from the Ginyu package, you could since there’s a lot of viable stuff in Yellow now… Barrier Buu, Freeze Goku, KO Majin Getes, etc. this would also save you hand advantage since you aren’t playing as many cards But I’d say Ginyu is still viable regardless so it could go either way, just heavily depends on your build!
