Poison is known for their raw performances and this is another example. Neither band member is the greatest musician but as a unit they are very strong. Funny thing is that there is no chance Bobby is singing live, no chance Bret's guitar is actually on and the backing vocals are coming from the keyboard player. Unsure why Poison would try to trick their fans by having Bobby and Rikki pretending to sing.

This is probably the best live version of this song by the band. I remember watching this on VH1 and loving that they left that whole intro in. Waiting for CC’s guitar…Bret stalling…CC just walking around…..and then….they friggin’ kill it! That guitar sound is so bad ass. The energy….again, best live version to me.

CC Was the reason I picked a guitar. 100% classically trained Guitarist. Did you know he’s actually a lefty but left handed guitars were more expensive so he learned to play with his right hand. In my mind the fastest arpeggio player in the world. In the days of Van Hagar CC made guitar fun again!

It's interesting that even as old as this is they were using tracks. Some of those background vocals were Memorex. Maybe there's a keyboard player out of the camera frame singing backups because I thought I heard piano as well.

The fallen angel is actually playing keys, but I guess CC said they're not allowed to be in the camera. 🤣

CC was excellent. Probably still is.
