You lie. Those are not mutually inintelligible dialects. Those are different languages and your talk just happens to support the supremacist, ultranationalist, imperialist, genocidal policies of the Beijing's totalitarian government. Chinese may have long referred to their different languages as "dialects", same way Italians refer to theirs, without this meaning they actually are dialects from a scientific point of view. In linguistics, everybody knows that there is no clearcut border between the notions and reality of dialect and language, but all academics know pretty well, in most particular cases, to differentiate between them. And it so happens that for Mandarin and Cantonese among other Chinese languages, there isn't any doubt as to their being different languages and having been so for a long time. Your video is nothing but a propaganda tool, subsurvient to a totalitarian genocidal agenda against your own people, because nobody is questioning that Mandarin and Cantonese speakers are equally Chinese, constituting a single nation. But some Mandarin speakers might fear that Cantonese speakers, such as Hong Kong citizens, may well want to have their own nation-state, to get free from Beijing's totalitarian rule.

Bravo, très intéressant. Et bon courage dans votre apprentissage du français. Pour améliorer votre accent quand vous n'êtes pas en France et continuer de pratiquer, vous pourriez suivre des vidéos/séries/podcasts en français et répéter les phrases que vous entendez. Ca peut se faire même quand vous faites autre chose dans la maison (cuisine, ménage...).
