We decided to break out the toys and have a little bit of fun

My brother and I decided to get the toys and cameras out and get some lead therapy shooting revolvers and rifles! Only a log and some targets were hurt in the making of this video. This was a great way to unwind from working hard and dealing with traffic the day before. If you enjoyed the video and read this far please like, share and subscribe!
We were not expecting to see this, the main trail was completely flooded!!
มุมมอง 4655 หลายเดือนก่อน
Now that we know where the property lines are, the work on the land can begin! We had a very wet early spring and our trail was completely underwater! almost needed a boat! Our plan was originally going to mark trails to a new hunting spot and to mark shooting lanes for this year's deer season! That plan obviously changed. We had to dig trenches and collect rocks to raise the path level. There ...
Neighbor surveyed the property line to prove us wrong! What is even our land?!
มุมมอง 303K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Came to our land to find survey markings on our entrance. I walked the property line to see where it ended up.
Time to get going on the rest of the land!

So, you bought a parcel of land without evidence of a survey to document what you thought you had bought?
Get your own servey snd don't trust someone else.
You should go offer half of the survey while thanking him for proving you correct and proving you own more than thought
Pretty awesome.
We tried to make a little something out of the bit we thought to record
Install a gate, unless you have an easement.
Unfortunately it's an easement
Drop t posts in asap so you can avoid any “accidental disappearing tags and markers” cut a 3 ‘ line along each boundary line and put posts w bracing in on the corners so you can maintain going forward
My Dad regarding boundaries once told me... Son, don't fence yerself off of yer own farm😂 If you put up a fence there will always come some wingnut claiming to own the other side of it😳🤣🎶✈️
What state are you in , cool looking piece of property. Looks like a good place to hunt ruffed grouse and woodcock.
Grouse are everywhere and we are located in Michigan
Take a piece of rebar with a large washer welded to it an set them in concrete at different points so you can relocate the property line later in life. Make sure to mark all corners.
I watched a few times over and over.......Dude,you got other marking on your land too that you walked by and didn't see.Im a hunter and fisherman next to the 60 years old mark.Something else comes through there!!!!!
What did ya see!?
@RostiboisADV you have markings from big people too.
You might consider offering to pay 1/2 the cost of his survey. It could serve to build good blood between neighbors. Good neighbors are priceless.
Sir now that you know your legal boundaries with certainty, you've won a portion of the battle of securing your property and title. Your biggest threat is use, maintenance and possession claims by others. If someone claims they have been using your land or improving it or traveling through it going back many years, the survey is moot. What can you do about it? Become a strong, present, obvious land owner. Do things that people will see and notice and they will see you as someone not to mess with. It doesn't take much. Recommend some gates on those trails for starters. I recommend some discreet cellular cameras placed where they are not observable from off property but will cover likely routes in and out. That way you can always pop in virtually to see what is going on. Congrats on the new land.
We definitely make our land use obvious and have unfortunately came to no trespassing signs taken down which were clearly on our side of the line. Us and the neighbors need to meet and gain an understanding.
In our state, purple paint is one of the legal methods for marking woodland property lines. Check your state law and if it's a purple paint state, paint your trees in accordance with the legal standard for minimum length of paint lines, height from ground, and distance between the paint markings then of course, video and photograph document it. Sounds arduous but you could do it in conjunction with one of your videos and it doesn't take long to do and could be part of your regular property inspections. Land is one of the most pilferable possessions so you should be doing this to guard yourself from adverse possession and prescriptive easement from neighbors or others. Also post No Trespassing signs as well but I'm sure you're all over that.
Its always necessary to get a surveyor, not a forester to do a proper title search and survey done when buying a piece of property so it eliminates any unnecessary squabbles with a neighbor who knows their lines, and someone who doesn't. I have been through it and had new land owners move the survey stakes.
Moving the stakes is highly illegal, it was a mis read of their property map and both theirs and ours lined exactly the same over land features.
What state are you boys in?
Most of the time we are in the state of confusion and some of the time in Michigan
You brought the headaches on yourself. What idiot would buy land without verifying the property lines?
What would make you assume we didn't walk the property lines and find the corner markers, used on x as a reference with the map of the property description all was a simple mis read of a map from neighbor
@@RostiboisADV The very nature of your video implies that you yourself "assumed" the markers to be correct. Always, and I mean always get your own survey done.
Them surveyors are idiots today the use digital readers that can be way off if you don't double check with standard reader smart readers are not very wise when working.
I had to turn my brightness down because of the white skin glowing
We will make sure he either gets a tan or wears a shirt
Now you know your neighbor is definitely a Karen Democrat...... good luck and don't engage with stupid😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can't tell if that's good or bad haha
All the benefits without the cost. Real city type stuff.
And wildlife be damned because they don't sleep and can't suffer anxiety
Nature is already loud asf
They weren't going to be sleeping with our presence there anyways
No
I would be be putting permanent markers down at this point .
We are in the works of it and marking the line every 10 yards or so
Imagine that.. shotgun not designed for those shells can't chamber them shells correctly
Yes it would have worked if you didn't have it so tight and have one half sticking out at the end

Gps makers are more accurate. People can alter papers.

How the hell do you go from 5 to 10 on the count?...
Magic
Def wanna put them in the pump though
If your not slamming em in 3 at a time your doing it wrong
I'm definitely no jerry miculek
@@RostiboisADV then u can do two atleast
woah woah woah calm down kurt
Hey they are diet shells perfectly unsafe
I was gonna say “carful dude”, but now I see what you were up to.
No ceiling pizza from us

So close
Too many shotguns will have an issue with the minis as they will flip around when chambering a new round after firing.
Yea was blissfully hopeful that it would work
Was that the 15th shell that came out with the 14th? Cus if you cycled with the 15th not all the way seated in the mag tube it’s gonna pull the 14th out. Take that 15th out and try again
No that was the 14th I took out the 15th shell and it still took 2 and again on the 13th and 12th

Winner
More than 1
Love it
Theres a rubber bumper for the lyftgate to help with that problem
I'll have to look in that thanks!
Yea they make an adapter just for mossberg little rubber boot like mentioned above.
Those shells look pretty average to me
Perfect sized
The big ones hurt

Ooo not quite
After a survey a few years ago we lost about two acres of forest, not alot but there was some nice pine trees the neighbour took out this winter.
We hired a surveyor and had our 35 acres marked along the lines between the corner markers. Then I bought a County Line auger at Tractor Supply. It runs of the tractor PTO and makes setting posts easy. I am putting in H braces at the corners and every 100 feet. T posts between. And lots of signs. Good fences make better neighbors. We are in sw Colorado.
Purple paint on trees. Can't be moved like signs
Survey isn't to prove you wrong, it's to prevent a fight.
You need to drive iron pipes into ground and create a photographic history for each marker you make permanent get pipe specs from any surveyor for your area usually a 1/2" gavlvanized ridgid pipe min. of 12" long driven into ground while temporary marks are fresh and unmoved. Would be even better if this permenent marking could be accomplished with neighbor where shared boundaries exist. Without a copy of the survey sealed you have very little that can be used by you in any legal matter. Immediatly contact the company neighbor used and get and pay for a sealed and dated copy of survey for common property lines while this matter is fresh, in a year these ribbons will be hard to locate and or verify and impossible to find/replace where markings have been displaced by the passage of time. This will pay huge dividends for as long as you own the land. Who advised you to purchase property w/o a survey? No compentent legal advisor would ever green light a purchase where property lines have not been verified prior to a closing. Be cautious of any future advice from this source for land purchases even if it was you in the future?? Good Luck. Pay attention to the signs this neighbor is sending in that he is willing to expend resources and must be taken seriously and put to bed if possible. Ray Stormont
You should get a GPS , walk the boundary and plot different markers incase he tries to move the ribbons .
We have with using on x and the markers right now are within 3 yrd of GPS to verify and we still haven't plotted a trail
What’s up with all the haters!?!? I bet the people screaming get a real survey done don’t even know how many of thousandsssss of dollars it cost!!! Go worry about your own property that you probably don’t have lol
We really appreciate this comment and we did our due diligence with at the very least walking it with on x but we never shown any of that in videos or discussed it on camera
Plant a straight layline of 20meter lengths of hedges every 100meters along the boundary - of a fast growing short hedge. Done. Always have that as your marker
