The molds will stay holographic forever. 😊 It's not like there's a layer on them, it's not a film that transfers to the resin. It's actually tiny grooves that refract the light and create a rainbow effect. That candlestick is gorgeous! I think I'll order that mold too. 😅 And the mistake was definitely a good one - I really like how you solved it! ❤

Can we make this on mdf board

Love the candle holder. I have ordered lots of molds from Temu. Great price but some are just ok as for how well they hold up. Also I didn't know Lowe's sold resin. I'm excited to try it.

I have spent hundreds os $$ from Temu and never got a discount card but maybe that was a thing of the past. I get electronic coupons towards future purchases but have to spend more in order to get it. I have often found the items to be quite smaller than expected but it’s also often cheaper there than other sites too. I will continue to buy from them.

Can you use acrylic paint ?

Another question for you. How well did you sand the table down before you painted it?

If you were to do a whole picnic table again, would you use the oil based spar varnish again, or the spray and water based varnish method you describe elsewhere? It seems like a large surface to spray down, but what are your thoughts?

This is very pretty. Anytime I forget to remove the tape, I find it easy to use the heat gun with the little shovel piece.
