As a person who speaks three languages (Spanish, English, and French), the Portuguese accent I understood best was the Brazilian one. It was slower, elongated pronunciation, and it was clear where there was a vowel. The hardest for me was the Portugal Portuguese accent. It was choppy, fast and not sure where vowels were.
As italian its amazing how i perfectly understood everything of the last 6clips and nothin but absolutely nothin in the original first portoguese clip, looks different languages

I'm kinda embarrassed about the fact that I'm a native speaker of Portuguese, and the only accent that I managed to understand really well was the Brazilian Portuguese, but I 'm from Brasil so this does not count in my favor. 😅😅😂😂😂😂 I can follow the dialogs from each one of these accents, but I have to be really concentrated. The last one was the easiest one to me.

Is East Timor really Portuguese? Some words sound Portuguese, but it's difficult to understand most of it.
East Timor was a Portuguese colony from the 16th century until 1975, with both Austronesian and Melanesian-Papuan ethnic groups present.
