The body just trying to make us fokus on that area where we feel pain so it can release. 100% agree! Sex is an exchange of energy especially if you are empathic. That's why a massage therapist needs to be in a proper state before putting their hands on someone. Casual sex and not being connected with someone could potentially have a negative effect on your mind, body and soul. 'Connection' is vital! You're absorbing trauma from your partners because you choose bad partners. Wanting to be “likeable” is a trauma response. You may have had experiences in your childhood of not feeling loved/ accepted and so you have developed people pleasing tendencies to survive. But every time you cross your own boundaries by being inauthentic you deepen your wounds. What matters is that YOU love and like YOU.

This usually steams from childhood wounds of not feeling loved/safe, having parents that abandoned you or where emotionally unavailable. If not aware and healed you will hold on to people even when they are not safe. In doing so you actually abandon yourself. Your lack of boundaries will continue to traumatize you because essentially you are programming yourself to believe you dont deserve to be loved PROPERLY

My father is a cult leader. I managed to leave, but he's made my life a living hell for doing so, for the past 9 yrs now. He's decided to make an example out of me for leaving his church. He's made everyone else in my family cut ties w me. I do hope one day I can truly heal from his abuse.
