Good video, but I had to STOP midway through as I realized you were spoiling Fallout New Vegas and I JUST started playing it for the first time. I'm not a total Fallout newb as I put a couple hundred hours in Fallout 3. Just never got around to New Vegas, but after watching the show I decided to play it. Great so far!

You can always have one non-human/mutant companion alongside one human/mutant one in New Vegas - makes the game insanely easy, but you certainly can.

Fallout is a series filled with lore-rich characters with mostly tragic backstories but I still choose the funny smiley robot as my favorite

I think that Bethesda is a hot mess that doesn’t care for it’s lore or customers and that they’ve never made a good game new vagas was loved by everyone but also not made by Bethesda every othe game that Bethesda made was controversial af 3 had quest bugs a hardline good guy story fallout 4 was meh not bad but so much missed potential and everything after was horrible even Skyrim for its time was horrible looking it was only good cause it was a open world fantasy game

Doesn’t this make Fallout 1 impossible? That juicy vault-tec tripple vault could almost be the Masters Cathedral location wise, it would’ve explained why he knew so much and why the vaults were without orders for 150 years.

Fallout was ominous and foreboding in 2008, sure. Today? It’s all about bright neon power armor paint, emotes and shallow radiant quests.

Shady sands is supposed to be right around where Fresno is in the real world, LA is the boneyard, I think the show writers may have gotten confused as that detail because LA is the bigger city in real life while shady sand is the bigger one in Fallout

I consider Fallout the show to be as canon as Fallout 4 and newer. Which is to say, not canon at all. They have no respect for their roots, and they retcon willy nilly for convenience or to hijack history that wasn't written by them. The show was terrible regardless of its lore inaccuracies.

I don’t think it was an intentional retcon. If anything, they just fast traveled lol.

I think from this point onwards, any person pitching a movie or show that primarily takes place in LA, NYC, or London, not based on a historical event should be blacklisted.
