Hi mate, i'm looking at doing something similar but almost like a band arrangement. I was wondering what you were doing for internalizing the timing for this? It seems like you're doing a little bit of a free time (Rubato) thing which for a drummer is difficult. I had a look at your sheet music and you (like me) decided it was in 6/4. I've been trying to figure out exactly what scale this is in. I'm a bit of a piano noob with very lacklustre theory knowledge but I have a trick for figuring out major chords. It looks like it's mostly D Major but then there's that occasional C note that crops up.

It hurts way more hearing this song on piano, and I love too how the "chaotic" parts are not fitting well whit the piano (or at least to my hear doesn't fit well) for all the omori contest

Oh boy, I've been on an interesting journey to get here. I started out by looking up "how difficult is Midna's Lament piano" to get a feel for how others feel about the difficulty of the song because I've been practicing it for awhile now and still struggle a bit. I found a reddit post that was titled "my interpretation of Midna's Lament" and gave it a click and went through the comments. I saw you had commented a link to the TH-cam page for the song for those who wanted to support you on TH-cam. Clicked on it and gave it a watch, and then decided to see what else you had uploaded just to find out that you had literally *just* uploaded a video like 40 minutes ago as of the time of me posting. Feels like fate led me here or something lmao. Nice piano playing though! Sounded beautiful.
