Learn What's New in the Second Edition of Forgiving Forward
I have always struggled with anger , resentments, and unforgiveness. I have been working on it with a therapist and 12 step sponsor, and it is getting better. I was told that resentments only hurt you, not the wrongdoers. I had to write down my resentments and how they affected me to see the damage to motivate me to let go. I also had to write down my part in the resentments so I could see where i was in the wrong, make amends, change behaviors, build my character and reconcile relationships if appropriate. Obviously there are some situations you don't play a part like if you were abused. I really get into psychology and human behavior so I like to understand why people act how they do for example mental illness. It helps to have compassion on them and to wish them well. This is NOT justifying or condoning it just helps to understand, have compassion, and wish them well. Its also not good to get revenge, not only because of consequence but they will get their karma and there will be justice. If it motivates them to change and make amends be happy for them.
I can't forgive on my own, I'm constantly asking the Lord for help to forgive others as He has forgiven me. Then I start praying for those who I'm striving to forgive, because you seriously can't have hard feelings towards someone you're earnestly praying for. This has brought me peace in my life.
How do we find a meeting in Lancaster Pa.?
Unbelief is the root of all mankind's problems. Started in Eden with Adam and Eve.
I have had a horrible time trying to forgive someone that every time I let them into my life does very hurtful, horrible things to me. I have prayed about it alot but sometimes I still feel like I haven't forgiven them. Its so hard when they can look you right in the eyes and lie that they did nothing wrong when in some instances there was even witnesses. Is it wrong to keep this person from coming around you when you know they will stab you in the back and do more hurtful things if you allow them back in your life and also obviously just want to use you for what they can get from you?
Forgiveness is not a feeling or emotion its a choice. Major sign of unforgiveness is sickness and infirmity. All of it has the same bitter root.
I can relate to both your experiences. I got hurt by someone close to me over a year ago and I grew bitter towards them over time. I wasn’t really present in a number of things and it became a struggle to actually love (agape). In February, I asked God to take away my bitterness and He did, overnight. He then started showing me address in which I needed to forgive and it was incredible just how much I had held in my heart. John 8:36 days “Who the Son sets free is free indeed”. I walked in that freedom last week when I spoke to this individual and to some one close to them that I also just as a result of my own hurt, and I didn’t feel any knots in my stomach.
You forgive people but don’t forget what they did to hurt you. Forgive not forget. Lessons learned.
What about justice? Should we not desire or seek justice for wrongs done against people
This is worth watching, I will definitely share.
What if you forgive and sincerely do not want them to pay, but you’re apathetic whether they are blessed or not? Because, I really don’t care one way or the other, and I would be lying to myself if I said I did. I basically haven’t seen them in forever, and I’m not going to revisit the past.
Can I forgive and not ever want to see the family member again?
How long is the total course?
I'm skeptical about that story myself. How would everything be okay if he never got deliverance from those things? Those are strong spirits and it requires deliverance. So was there Deliverance done during your session? Just curious? It's too good to be true.
H O W do I R E A L L Y forgive? When I think I have … but have those things you just mentioned. Help me, Lord Jesus. I MUST have victory in forgiveness.

Forgiveness is both personal and individual. We need God to help us find out peace. We have to accept that people can only do what they can do. Sometimes just walking away and staying away is all we can manage. We must not judge the measures of forgiveness of others. It's between a person and God and nobody else.
I wish I would have had access to this channel 15 years ago.
I forgive myself and the sins committed against me in Jesus name.
Right. So it is not actually trusting in the fellow imperfect human at all. Therefore, I say trust is NOT a virtue, except for trust in God
❤
I have forgiven a lot of people even people who took my niece and nephews lives Because I know that God is in control. I will never let a murderer have power over me or anyone else infact. I just continue on and pray for My country that My father served.
So I am not surposed to trust humans? But To trust in Jesus ! So I Can just say -I dont trust you - I trust Jesus !

Where is the scripture that when someone trangress against you: you have to forgive? Where is the scripture that says unforgiveness is sin if that person hasn't made amends or repents like you said? Using Matthew 6:14-16 and mark 11:24-26 will not help your case because it doesn't speak of the status of the person who was done wrong or transgressed against: it speaks the status of the trangressor. How can someone who was trangessed against or done wrong to you and does not forgive be in sin and clearlythey are not a trangressor? Jesus clearly states if your brethren trespasses against you, you are required to rebuke but only if he presents then you are required to forgive stated in Luke 17:3. It didn't say when your brethren trespasses against you, then forgive. How does this unforgiveness go against the cross and Jesus asked God to forgive them and Jesus didn't forgive them himself stated in Luke 23:34. Why did Jesus ask God to forgive and he could have did it himself if Jesus was God then? If unforgiveness was sin then God is a sinner then: the creator does not get a pass neither. I can name more in the Bible who will be in sin just because you said unforgiveness is a sin just because that false doctrine of forgiveness says if you don't forgive.
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Excellent message
SUGGESTED: Do you guys have calendars of various sizes with the quotes and pictures you show for a year calendar? If not I keep a calendar next to my bathroom sink wall, would be a great way to remember some of the quotes you guys put out. I know that would be an extra cost on the front end. But I would pay for those calendars to give as gifts for family and also for my home. Just a thought❤️
Well done
Love these guys. Their ministry is life changing. Maybe this year you could see your life transformed by participating in their ministry?!
Thank you this is gold standard and yes i can understand how the movie theater would play over and over again and the words were alive I hope i find an off button then delete it and my happiness has returned and my peace. Now when some small thing creeps in I have to watch it and i did not know was 46 when my husband passed and got into a new church here in NZ so things had to be so much more serious than just something little and yes it was within a church setting but thanks be to God most has been wiped from my memory banks just got to learn how when the enemy tries again
forgiveness is so hard and a mystery to me. especially when the offender doesnt even acknowledge it, the quickest way i find to forgive someone is when that person just stays away from me
You don't forgive them because they apologise or deserve it or you feel better about what happened - you do it because you want to be free and God can't forgive you until you forgive others. You ask him to help you and you speak it out no matter how much it hurts. You ignore your feelings and speak the scriptures over the situation. It will resolve, as you do it every time it comes back up. You say I choose to forgive this person in Jesus name. Pray for your enemies. You will be freed. ❤
This is the best channel ever❤
