This is not what Ramana taught. The question was just to stop the mind. You ask the question and remain still till a thought comes, then ask again. It is not a mantra, as Ramana often said. It is actually resting in the sense of yourself, of your own existence, of feeling your own life; just paying attention to that. What is presented here is just a relaxation exercise. Self enquiry is to discover your own Spiritual Self, the Atman, which is enlightenment. Nothing else. It is about stillness and inner silence.

My right scapula had protracted about 8 months back from nerve damage caused by radiation treatment yrs ago. Thru trying to stretch, exercise and an intake of nutrition are all helping, but the left side has also been winged about 5 month back do to the same nerve damage it is thought. Is there something else that can be done to help heal this painful situation in them that only started about 4 months back with the right side and 2 moths on the left side... TYVM

I was a beautiful girl with dark curly Hair and olive toned skin. I has big green/hazel eyes with short eyelashes When I looked, I had nothing on, my figure was shaped like that of an hourglass but more chubby. I has thin hands and long slim fingers. As I went in I heard birds singing and found myself in a weird place, it was neither a tropical forest nor a desert I felt a cool breeze around me and saw an other door that led me to the shadow of two men fighting behind a door The one guy was my father I think and the other one an unknown. As I asked why they’re fighting my father slapped me and a bunch of memories came up. I saw how he abused me and sold me I think the other guy was the person I was sold to. They were dressed in clean noble clothes and had a beard like a sultan Judging by these facts I think it took place in a warm land on a colder day somewhere around before Christus

Mine was 1st half 19th century. I was bout 16 yo girl and pregnant?? I lived with my mother and younger Bothers in some (probably british) town. It was Cold and in our street was a factory that always made noise so probably it was working with coal, because the air was really bad and smoggy. There were strange men all in black, as if they wore Pest masks, but that doesnt match the time period...strange. no idea who the baby daddy was tho 🤷‍♀️

Shikantaza isn’t concentrating on breathing at the belly, that is called Zuisokukan, and it is similar to Shamatha style meditation. Shikantaza is pure open awareness, being receptive to all sense experience, without judgement, without attachment.

First meditation I have done in awhile. While in full honesty I noticed a lot of tension in my body, I was mindful of the tension and focused on my breath and the voice. The reason I took a hiatus on my spirituality was because I had these distorted beliefs of the words I was reading. While I take full responsibility of that, I at least thought to share that here too.

Thanks. I like it! ❤️If I am not wrong, this is another confirmation of my same past life from other yt plr video. In this plr, I was a cowboy, I can see my hairy hands (I am an Asian woman in this lifetime), in Arizona, about 19 th century. I was in a field in a suburb town. Lesson of this plr: No matter outer circumstances, what matter is my internal state of being. God is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.😃

This is a real treasure. I came upon this from Insight Timer, something drew me to press play even though I had no idea what it was. I felt so absolutely comfortable in the Unknown after completing the movement rounds, my body and mind were quiet and content. I would love if you published this meditation on Insight Timer! Thank you so much for this; I had no problems with copying the hand movements, but I will be listening to this wonderful ‘pre-meditation’ again and again 😍😍
