This Gamay Noir is made from an old bush vine block planted on Villiera in 1981. It is the oldest planted Gamay Noir vineyard in South Africa and is a single vineyard registered with the Old Vine Project. Made with minimal intervention to showcase this site-specific wine.

In 2022 we decided to add a Nectar to our Cap Classique range to satisfy market demand. Eye catching packaging has been used to suit the style. The word “Pearls” refers to the magical string of tiny bubbles and the pearls of nectar that attract birds and insects to the many indigenous flowers on Villiera.
