I'm so glad that you are doing a video on this. I cringe whenever I see an African home inspired by colonizers style. It's usually overdone, gaudy and tacky to say the least. I love the colors, patterns and prints of Africa even before I knew those were African designs. I find better expression of myself in styling my home in the boho style. From there, I wanted to incorporate in my home the basket designs as well as the black and white prints that are African. Thank you for the education.

What I am starved of is getting to walk around a property rather than stagnant pictures. This looks lovely. I am tired to death at white and black or white and browns house tours it’s is awfully boring. Wanting to see colour used in a classy way. Not overly done. Patterns and textures that are African but perhaps muted in colours.
