First iRacing Driver's-Eye Race
Here's my first driver's eye view in iRacing. Picked a doozy of a race to record, but it was tons of fun. If you look to the right of the wheel, you'll see a custom SimHub dash I made, specifically for the tiny phone I used to use for racelogic readouts.
As a side note....
I finally realized why my audio in past recordings was so weird. It's because I stream audio directly to the gopro I use and it can only push left and right front audio. I play all my games in 5.1, so only a portion of all sound was actually being recorded. This time around, I'm just using the built-in mic, so it "should" sound much better, or at least all the sounds will be audible from now on.

Another POV race but without horizon lock. Not sure I like it more/less, but the slight tilt most of the race doesn't play well with my "ocd".

How did you setup the path for the hw button.
How did you setup flashing button to show when it is on.
Where did you get the house and arrows button from.
Where did you get iron Mouse and arrows.
Where did you get that screen saver from.
Not sure what rig you have but looks like you have Fanatec and the same wheel I have. I wasn’t planning on the fourth overhead monitor but that looks good. We will see. I have to figure out the Stream Deck icons and hotkeys, get a DDU from Chris Ullmann, and a shifter mount plate from Sim Labs, then add the Fanatec shifter and a hand brake. Then maybe a fourth monitor.
Thanks for this. I’m very new to all of this. Ten years playing on easy peasy Gran Turismo, but now built and on rig, built a PC and am moving into this new world. Bought the Stream Deck XL last night and ordered the mount I liked from EU: have to spend lots of time to figure this out now.

I'm trying to get my Simhub overlays on Iracing; I made the dashboard overlay; but not sure how to make a button on teh streamdeck to make it work? Any help?

I see I need to make an AMS2 beta icon. Any more I should include? Also, what's up with the ABS and Engine with the numbers? I guess settings. Not a bad idea. And I see a mirror select. I must admit, I haven't been using it myself recently. Mostly due to offline racing in VR.
Woah, a comment from the creator?!?!?! I'll post an in-depth video of the icons this weekend to see if you can spot any other items that could make this easier!
@@tagsxa Awesome. FYI, I'm in the process of making icons for: RaceLab / iRacing blackbox / VBOX Circuit Tools Already had mirror select. Added TC & ABS presets a few updates ago, but forgot about the engine mode ones :)
This is just using my phone so the sound you hear is from my speakers and not directly piped in from the game.
I am really impressed with the videos and setup.
