Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm is a landmark renewable energy project located in the North Sea, approximately 15 kilometres off the Angus coastline in Scotland. With an installed capacity of 1.08 GW, it will produce enough clean energy to power the equivalent of around half the homes in Scotland. The wind farm will feature 72 state-of-the-art turbines designed to harness the area's strong and consistent winds. Electricity generated offshore will be transmitted to the onshore substation at Cockenzie, East Lothian, where it will be transformed and transmitted to the UK national grid. The project is owned by Inch Cape Offshore Limited, a joint venture between Red Rock Renewables and ESB.
