We Fight A Swordfish Into The Sunset
We head out to redeem ourselves after having some shocking luck while fishing in the Australian international bill fish tournament. It was a relatively quiet day but we decided to stick it out and fish the afternoon tide change. The grind paid off after we come tight late in the afternoon.

Big Trout In Wild Weather

I head to the pieman river for a quick afternoon session on the trout. The weather was terrible with strong winds and heavy rain but I stuck it out and ended up getting rewarded with some quality fish.
Solo Fishing A West Coast Lake!!

I grab the 1450 stabicraft and head down to one of my favourite lakes on Tasmania's west coast. The fishing was red hot with plenty of fish hitting the deck.

We head out into the bass strait to try find some big southern bluefin tuna! The plan come together in the afternoon when we hooked up to a huge fish on the afternoon tide change and we ended up landing our personal best tuna.
Lively Swordfish Tagged And Released!!

We head down to the east coast of Tasmania to look for another swordfish, We take out our good mate Paul Hicks to see if we can show him a swordfish boat side. After losing two fish early we thought our chances of hooking another one was pretty slim but in the early afternoon we got a solid hook up and everything went right. We got a tag in and quickly sent him on his way!

We head down to the east coast of Tasmania hoping to get our second swordfish for the year! Our goal is to try and tag and release like always. We end up hooking up to a solid sword on our second drop of the day and she didn’t like the look of us one bit. She played up a absolute treat at the boat! With only 2 of us on board it got pretty hectic!

We head down to the east coast of Tasmania to try for a early season swordfish in our 2400 Stabicraft. The weather wasn’t as nice as we was hoping for but we manage to hook up on our first drop of the day and end up tagging and releasing a nice fat swordfish. It was a great way to start our season.

We finally got a weather window to head to the west coast of Tasmania and head offshore to fish some new ground that we had been keen to get to for a long time. It definitely didn’t disappoint we couldn’t of asked for a better day.
Big Brown Trout From The West Coast!!

I knocked off work at the mine and went for a trout fish at one of my favourite spots nearby. I don’t normally fish for trout over the summer but with the water levels being so high I decided to give it a go. I only had two hours to fish before it got dark so I quickly got ready and made the walk in and it was definitely worth it!!

Great catch congratulations. How far do you go out on single engine. We do 25 miles out of Miami Florida USA with single engine for swords ⚔️
Thanks mate. We only have a 15 mile run out to the sword grounds here in Tasmania so we are pretty lucky.

Last time I fished Mackintosh was in a freezing sleet storm,the rainbows were going wild ,I got 3 big ones all over 3 kg ,the flesh was deep red like salmon ,real treat

Bloody hell you will find them! After 3 days of fishing up tullah last weekend I finally hooked a beast in the last 15 mins of the comp and lost it haha and here you are first cast
