Very beautiful
I’m from NYC who loves to travel wow so beautiful maybe I take a ride up there thanks for sharing
pics not clear
They have the Horse shows there in the summer HITS but as a horse owner they are the worst town to be in. The merchants dont really like the horse show or the people or care about it. Try to find a laundry place that will let you wash the horse blankets is impossible. They even post on the windows of laundromats no horse blankets......The reason the show moved from ellenville to saugerties was the owner was given a huge tax break to go there. He lives right down the road from the facility

Kindly Thank-you Patterson, NY Sunday Morning Travels = for reminding me of excellent experiences in Patterson, NY especially Patterson, NY Center Gym where I participated in bouts in ring and did refereeing as Mixed Martial Arts fighter under John Carlo School of Fighters.
I grew up in Beacon (now in my 70s). I now live in Florida. It was a quiet town. Climbed Mount Beacon when I was in my 20s. What a view !!!!!! Then there's the view of the Hudson River (now they made a park down there.....nice ) Now as of 2014 (there abouts ), The PRESENT-DAY Beacon is built up. Empty stores are now thriving businesses. It's still a nice place to live. I still love Beacon.
Drove right by my house.
Whixh one ?
Only the best streets were shown. 😊
Beautiful 🎉
I can't get over how much my beautiful town has changed in the past 25 yrs, don't get me wrong, it has all been for the better, it's just that there were great memories in many of the places that have changed.
Love view of S Dela
Love the beautiful sky view.
Thanks for the video, I so love upstate
My aunt lives in Pawling.
My hometown.
All those years when I was a kid in Beacon, we never got to Amenia. Lovely place, especially in the spring. Thanks.
So green and beautiful I lived in the Adirondacks for 4 years I'm in San Diego now it's so completely different I do miss New York though. Got to do a drive in the peak fall colors
Driving videos like this are getting me through long winter nights. Thanks.
Drive FASTER!! THEN WE CAN SEE EVEN LESS!!
Sorry to hear that!! I wasnt born there, i was born in a different town in new york state, Nowhere, New York Nothing there either, just like here! Oh ya, high property taxes!
I grew up in Wassaic and spent a lot of time with the other kids in that town, hanging out around there. I was living in one of the houses close to the train tracks and remember when they brought in Metro again. We could be in the kitchen and see the faces of passangers on the train because we were that close. The red building that was at the Y sits right over top of that little creek. We fished off that bridge but my favorite was when that was a little store. The wooden floor had a knot that fell out. As a young kid we'd be on our hands and knees with our eye held to the floor watching the water flow under us. 😂 There are still so many historic buildings there and its been very unchanged in 30 years as far as removing or adding buildings. As a teenager, I worked at Four Brothers, then on to what was Grand Union. I was there through their changes from G.U. to Food Town and then Fresh Town. I graduated from Webutuck in 2003. It's s been a long time since I've been back but Wassaic/Amenia will always hold a special place in my memories. Thanks for taking the drive. I know those roads like the back of my hand and I didn't realize how much I missed seeing this scenery. ❤
The most ordinary small city in America.
Until you see vigils on the street
Some really live that
My hometown, also one of the top most dangerous cities in America.
What have you got against East Main Street? Always skips over the business section of East Main, but includes Smith Street! Also no Broad Street with post office, library and restaurant. Poor planning.
Great video thanks!
I love the time you took to narrate.
Poughkeepsie a real dump.
Beautiful City! But it reminds me of The Poughkeepsie Tapes.😅
I looked it up and the movie is fiction.
I live in the heart of it. Crazy shit happens around here.
Spent my summers there in the 80's. Still have property in Bearsville.
Brings back old memories 😌
