I have been building a 2022 Power Wagon for the last 2 years. Love your new ride and all the features. You might want to look into a recent product that came out for the Power Wagon from Dethloff manufacturing. He makes a steel skid plate that protects your transmission and and oil pan that was just released last week. This has been a weak spot on the undercarriage. I would also look into the Thuren rear track bar which helps these coil sprung PW handle heavy loads better. Bilstein 5160 shocks also do a great job of handling the increased weight you are packing. when we get in to the sectors like overlanding and yatching kind of business unfortunately the prices are waayy to high and as far as I understood most of them are overlanders or yatchy persons. so they are the end users.. and the products they sell are the necessity of experience...so these companies are small/medium type of local companies and just because of that the prices are high...WHAT ARE YOUR DECISIONS FOLKS ? AM I RIGHT ?

I love the backroads shelter. Because I'm fun sized, 5'2" and I'm widowed. Which means my options are limited. Putting this up gives a place to cook and in a pinch, a place to potty. I know, not ideal, but I also have a small child and he will wait until he can't hold it to say he needs to go. Which means I can put this up first and then focus on the main tent and work with whatever he needs. A snack, a pee, even out of the rain or sun. It's a game change for car camping.

Originally I got the Sideroads, I liked it so much and found it easy to assemble by myself, that I acquired the Bacroads too, with some creativity I can attach it to my Gazelle giving it a huge vestibule, attach 2 poles at the ground end and raise it up for more ventilation and view, haven’t tested it in rain though, I know is not a tent but I hope it holds well on moderate rain that way I can be outside having coffee and looking at people running around the campground in the rain. Lol.

Great Video on a great product Alu Cab is definitely the best roof top tent system. Just installed one on a Tundra Crew Max with a seat delete for my fridge and stove top. Love it!

Unless I'm mistaken, the steel is from Germany, but the knife is made in China. Transparency is a thing. Oh, and the company itself is based in California. Not Germany.

have seen many Camper Vans where the shower and toilet take up a large section of the van which quickly eliminated that manufacturer as a choice for a van. This shower setup in the Beast will surely be the standard design for a shower setup in the industry.
