I had a bladder infection, so I was prescribed 14 pills for 7 days. I have jhust had an argument with one of my GP's who should know better as he's the oldest. he will never give an antibiotic unless there is absolutely 300 % positive after a urine sample comes back. two other male doctors are similar...... I have proof that I should have been given a first line Nitrofurantion 100mg Td and the reason behind me saying that is because my horrendous symptoms Christmas eve and the dipstick showed blood top end leucocytes ++ protein ++ pus all the symptoms under the sun including night sweats. Those individuals that have been tested Latent TB positive 2016 then 2022 might as well talk to their cat as report to their GP's..... I did get a secnd Nitrofurantoin which had no side effects on me but the infection gradually was erradicated, nearly apart from dysuria which was not bad at all. The start gradually worsened and it was a disstressing fight to get both boxes of nitrofurantoin. In my commercial heating profession all had to pass a competancy test every five years. How about doctors in GP practices following suit. I heard a labourer who wa sobviously educated say ---yes us building trade do make mistakes but yours Doctor are under the stones at the top of the hill........ or up in a puff of smoke = no worries for them then only the bloke or lady who's coaked it and the family of course. TB obliterated by 2030 in the UK or anywhere else ? = NOT A CHANCE
