Jameos del Agua (Not Free)
This remarkable lava tunnel has been restyled by architect Cesar Manrique. In this tunnel, you can see a swimming pool in which not even the king of Spain can swim. On the bottom of the lake, you will also find crustaceans which are not found anywhere else in the world.
Mirdor del Rio (Not Free)
Also designed by Cesar Manrique, this lookout point holds beautiful vistas over La Graciosa. Definitely worth a visit.
Jardin de Cactus (Not Free)
This garden full of cacti is a great place to spend a few hours. Jardin de Cactus is also designed by Cesar Manrique. If you plan on visiting all his architectural wonders you can get a better deal by getting a combination ticket.
La Geria Vineyards(Free)
This entire area of Lanzarote is characterized by a special way of growing grapes in holes in the grounds. While here, have a taste at a local winemaker, let us know if you also found it tastes like fire.
Costa Teguise (Free)
Perfect beach town with great vibes. We enjoyed spending time here. Many great bars, hotels and restaurants are scattered across Costa Teguise's beachfront.
Caldera Blanca (Free)
Dormant Vulcano with spectacular views over the entire island. Hiking up was difficult and sometimes even dangerous due to the extremely strong winds. Wear proper shoes if you decide to go up.
Ruta del Litoral (Free)
If you have ever wanted to walk through a lava field this is your chance. While walking you will see loads and loads of lava and some harsh environmental plant life before reaching the ocean. You will be rewarded with great views. Bring loads of water, sunscreen and food during summer time. Also wear proper hiking shoes
Lago Verde (Free)
This lake owes its colour due to algae. The hike to the viewpoint is extremely easy. Don't wander off the path because the rocks here are very fragile and a fall might be deadly.
Los Charcones (Free)
On Lanzarote's harsh shorelines you will find many tidal pools. However, Los Charcones is the largest of them all. From here you will be rewarded with great sunsets. A little bonus for all urban explorers is the abandoned hotel next to it. Have a look inside, be warned, it is scary!
Los Hervideros (Free)
The rough seas have carved out a cave system overtimes. Stand on top of the cave to see the waves crashing with great power. Or walk a bit to have a front view of the cave.
