I've got some news I wanted to share. Recently this week we have a incident where one of the yard switchers pulled a trailer off the bay doors with 2 package handlers inside. That person was fairly new started training around the same time as me. According to fedex policy its consider a safety violation and a disqualification of ever driving again. Its suck knowing you would get sent back inside doing manual labor but hey i guess thats better than being fired. In our hub linehaul drivers arent supposed hook up on the docks but if they do they need to make sure the trailer door and bay door is shut, now I dont know what happens to contractors who pull trailers while someone is working inside, could that lead to immediate termination?

Funny thing is he prolly didnt do anything wrong, thats just how our infrastructure is 😅. Wonder where all those taxes go 🧐 certainly not a politicians pockets

I work at a fedex hub as a yard switcher, i though you truckers arent supposed to pull trailers off the bay doors cause if someone is inside they could get hurt and that opens up alot of liability issues😮

I used to work in the pallet industry the most likely thing you were hauling in that pup trailer was a sign. It's sounds about right. Signs need a very large pallet to support the sign for transport so my most likely guess would be that you are hauling a sign that took up most of the space in the pup trailer.

Ive now been driving for 4 years for FedEx out of denver. One thing I will say that we, they got nice equipment as compare to other's ive driven for. Not shure I d recommend this order, in case you found trouble with pulp or last trailer. Like lock broke or brakes won't release as then I got to start over.

I had a 53 out of new jersey years ago with a 5 lb box as the whole load. Shipper didn’t even put me in a dock, just handed it to me.
