Not sure about that. Contact MDK to find out. You can always cut the coils down to work for your desired ride height (blah blah shut up about progressive spring rates and just live life you internet losers) and adjust whatever shocks you buy for the reduced ride height from what I posted.

Increased engine life bc of less “strain” on the motor. A marginal increase in power. Those are the 2 main reasons.

I prefer rounded off bolts and nuts. It gives me a reason to scrap the entire motor and start over with a new motor that isn’t justified and is running perfectly fine but I need a reason to get a bigger motor. But I do appreciate the info!

Definitely a lift. I’ll have to go back and look at previous videos (or this one) but it ended up being higher than expected with the stated components.

It’s not a coilover. It’s just coils with shocks. You could do coilovers with it, I suppose. It rides fine for being a single cab dually and it’s definitely an improvement over stock. Rides better than an rsk for sure.

I added an exit pipe plus muffler to give me the option of loud vs louder.

It wasn’t even loud. That guy doesn’t like sounds of any kind.

The dodge inners just need to be SLIGHTLY ground down so they fit over the bigger Ford hub. That’s it. Bolt pattern is the same. Grind them and bolt them on.

Just bc I can and get the wider stance 🤷‍♂️. It’s 1 of 5 trucks that I currently own so it doesn’t have to be practical.

I live on 5 acres and all my neighbors have acreage. My neighbor on one side is in the county. My property happens to be in the city limits, unfortunately.

I believe I did the 2.5” but it actually gave around 7” of lift with the Icon coils.

No adapters. Ordered them for direct bolt on for 8 lug. It is not an F Superduty with 10 lugs. Just a little cab and chassis baby lol.

@heyitsmedouglasheyitsmedou1312 I got a 94 F350 12 valve swapped I'm trying to put 2020 17s on it. I ordered some lug adapters hopefully they will work. Love your truck though. I was gonna order those ion bulletholes this morning but the guy at the tire shop had a set of brand new pull offs he wanted 800 bucks for em. Figured I could make it work lol

Sounds like a sweet truck. I don’t recall how much I paid for the wheels but I think they were $1,100-$1,200 for 4 of them (I have used Dodge dually inner wheels on the rear).

Yep, the first 2 minutes or so of that video have the truck with a 2.5” leaf spring lift. Tires are 35x12.5x20 Gladiator XComps. Wheels are 17x7(?) Pacers.

I wired the flood lights up yesterday and installed the license plate lights. Just have to figure out how I’m going to mount the reverse sensors. Might need to drill the holes out to make them fit but I don’t want to mess up the powder coat.

Never once had an engine light or code from doing this

@jamesleon98 I put long tube headers on mine (460 efi) and it sounds like a champ. Definitely improved the sound. No dash lights before or after doing so. Highly recommended. I used Doug Thorley.

Not sure about a 351, as mine is a 460. Kind of surprised Napa couldn’t set you up with the right belt.

@heyitsmedouglasheyitsmedou1312 that will be super cool if you get it done. I want to do something similar with D80s on my 7.3 f250 SRW. I want the extra braking and higher gear ratio without buying a new truck. Lots of 450s at junkyards.
