This rod is built for hard baits/wobblers. So if you will mainly use this type of lure should be perfect. If you use soft plastics look for another rod.

Thanks! Kickback would work well, but when fish is active, it tends to swallow very deep when using the kickback rig.

Perch can be found at any depth. All depends on where the food will be located. If you have bait fish sitting on the surface they will come to the surface, but most likely is to be found on the bottom. Before deciding on what method you will use you need to consider depth, how fast is the water flowing, snags on the bottom, vegetation and so on.

@yasinozkaran4417 Deeper water will require heavier jigheads as you will be able to get to the bottom and you will have a better feel and control over the lure.

I would suggest you use mainly topwater lures. I think this way you will avoid the groupers and the painted combers. For the mackerel, you need deeper areas(Ports will be your best option) and jigs.

Thank you! It all depends on the popper, smaller poppers need a shorter leader or a longer one will drag them underwater. In this case I think it was around 50cm.
