Bivvying in Snow in the Dublin Mountains March 2023

We attempted a summit camp on Slieve Binnian in the Mourne Mountains Northern Ireland. The winds increased overnight and damaged our Hilleberg Jannu tent.

I didn't read the instructions that came with my soto wind master camping stove and made the mistake of using an aluminium wind shield. I melted the igniter and the stove stopped working.

We went camping on Slieve Muc in the Mourne mountains Co Down again in Early January 2021. This was a very cold night. We realized after that it was the coldest night in a decade in Ireland! The sunrise was incredible.

This video is part one of a longer route I have planned. the first three days of what will eventually be a 10 day hike. It starts in Rostrevor co Down and goes through the Mournes, Camlough Mountain, Slieve Gullion, South Armagh and the Coolies in co Louth.
