@@Rocketmiller69 Thank you for reminding me! We're absolutely thrilled. The company more than took care of the shipping mishap, and we've not had a single problem with it. I don't know if they're back in stock, but definitely pick up the external shelf (if you don't have an existing grill setup). We really miss that addition. If I have any kind of a complaint at all, it would be to add that shelf as a standard feature, and charge a few extra bucks for it. But, it could be that I'm a minority with that opinion. So, yes, we love it, and recommend it.

@@Rocketmiller69 You'll love it. I even went into it a bit cynical, because as you read, I got off on the wrong foot. And, WOW....the customer service blow me away, and the grill spoke for itself. And, we're not doing anything crazy with it (yet). I'll eventually try some slow cooked ribs that we got from Omaha (which we also have grown to love). But, short of that it's just straight forward steak, chops, and brats. I will say that, I've learned that so, far the temp probes seem to be on the conservative side. So, if you're going for med-well, the probe will be closer to medium as an example. That could also be how/where I put the probe. But, since I posted my original comment, we've cooked an ton of meat, and not once have I screwed anything up. One learning curve is that, I'm not used to having a grill that get's this hot, and maintains the temp (like for when you wan to sear on the sear grates). Make sure you do a decent wipe down of any grease, or it WILL catch on fire. I hope that makes sense. On a typical gas grill, you can have a small amount of grease build up, and not have to worry about it catching on fire, when you shut the lid, because it simply won't get hot enough. With this grill you have to really watch that. Hope my two cents helps....and enjoy! 2023 will be a great "food" year for you. 👍

Jackpots are great, and "Affordable" too. I used them on my 09 and 18 SG's. ON my 20 RGS I went Magnaflows and they are by far my favorites, but they've been discontinued.

The Jackpots were quieter.

The inserts make a difference?

@@davidwilley4524 A little bit. Honestly, I just didn't care for the tone of the Jackpots. I like the deeper, smoother tone fo the Magnaflows better. Too bad , I think they stopped making them.

The magnaflows sound really good and your right I think they stopped making them.Dennis Kirk has them on close out for $377.00 How did the magnaflows sound on the highway?The idle seems fairly quiet because of the deep tone.Shouldn’t bother the neighbors much.

@@davidwilley4524 they are louder than stock, but if you keep throttle to a minimum you can leave for work at 6am without waking the neighbors. On the highway they have a nice rumble but won’t deafen you either. When you get on it they open up and sound great and get louder. $377 is an awesome deal, I think I paid $650.

I have had no issues wiht mine at all. Well, the wireless has disconnected a few times, but other than that it has been great! It holds temps very accurately, but you might need to calibrate your temp probes.

I just ran mine empty to season it, I don't think its any worse because if that.

@@chuckp7970 Seasoning is by definition the act of polymerizing a fat onto the surface. So if it is being run dry rather than coated in a fat (animal fat, oil, etc.) then it isn't seasoned. To pabuffa's question, you can. Pam is mainly canola, which is a common seasoning oil. Make sure to get the grill above the smoke point of the oil (400f for canola) on the first go. You want the oil to polymerize without food on it and leave the baked on polymer ("seasoning") behind. The reason this is done empty is because seasoning releases carcinogenic smoke (same reason you don't use olive oil at high heat) and produces an off-taste. After the initial seasoning, make sure to use high heat oils (peanut, safflower, sunflower, grapeseed) when oiling your grates before placing food on them (whenever oiling is even necessary).

I wouldn't say profits, they weren't able to keep selling their grills at the same price with rising manufacturing costs. Grills are still great though, even manufactured in China.

Its probably been Revolutionized by now, but we enjoyed it a lot. I hope you enjoy your trip! We're probably holding off until 2023 before we start cruising again.

@@chuckp7970 we just came back on the revolutionized Summit last week out of St Maarten. Mandatory pre-PCR testing and vaccination and less than 400 passengers on a ship designed for 2100 passengers. All crew tested PCR negative mid week and all passengers tested negative at the end of the cruise and no masking for passengers while on board. It was heavenly. Best cruise ever. Alaska won’t be until 9/2022.

@@chuckp7970 yes. Everything open. Full staff. Only one show (9pm). Buffet open but no longer self serve. Tons of sanitizer everywhere plus several sinks in the buffet area so passengers could wash hands. This was our first Retreat/Suite class cruise. Only 40 passengers were in the suites.

Your observations are right on, there is no way I know of to clean out the hopper. If you want to chnge pellets you have to run the hopper to empty. On mine the grae in the hopper is held on by adhesive so you can remove that to be able to get down in to the hopper to remove pellets. With that said, 1.5 years later I still love my RT-590 and am very glad I bought it. I use competition blend pellets so I dont really change pellet type very often. I say go for it and get one!

Basically, for the extra inch of travel and the better ride quality.

Still the stock bars. I'd like to go with T-Bars, but I don't like that they all basically block the speedo/infotainment screen.

I'd have to dig up the receipt. Have you tried contacting Magnaflow directly? I did a quick search I couldn't find any for the M8 either. Wonder if they stopped making them?

Honestly, Spend the extra $200 and get the better shocks. I sent mine back and exchanged them and am very happy I did. The extra 1" of travel really makes a difference. But you always have the 30-day money back guarantee if you want to try the Premieres first.

I've been meaning to do a review, maybe I'll get to it this spring. But I can say after almost 1.5 years it has been great, no issues, and it cooks great too. The app and wireless work well for the most part. It's super easy. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Anything in Zephyr is a perfect machine. :-)
