So to help some of you guys out. A mistake I had made was when it asked me if I wanted to download into the applications folder on the terminal I put no and then when it asked for a location the first time I tried giving it a location and then it never would open. So I started over allowed it to go through the prompts again and when it asked for the path I just pressed enter. That picked a default location and now its up and running. I hope that helped someone else.
Thank you so much ! I was struggling with installing different java updates and doing all sort of confusing stuff in terminal that didn't work! You saved my day.
Thank you for posting. I am one step closer to getting mine set up, thanks to you! For some reason, my terminal looks different then yours when I open install.command. It doesn't prompt me to creat an application shortcut or anything else. Rather, it opens up and is already at the [Process completed] part. Any ideas on that?
I had the same issue the first time, make sure you drag that installation zip file into your application folder and install it there instead of the download folder, let me know if that works for you
Thank You So Much
