Fast Track Gameboard
This video describes the process I used in my shop to build a Fast Track Game Board (Marble Game). This game has become very popular and I have made these games for a number of families. No reason why you don't get out to your shop and build yourself one of these. I have made a set gameplay instructions if you need. Let me know.

Second Battery on Sea Doo Sportster
มุมมอง 2.5K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Many Sea Doo Sportster owners want to install a second battery in their boat. Unfortunately, a second battery mount is not standard equipment. This video is a step by step guide to help you develop and install a second battery mount in your Sea Doo Sportster. I need a second battery in my boat to run a trolling motor when I am out fishing. In a previous video, I built a transom so that my boat ...
Sea Doo Sportster with Trolling Motor
มุมมอง 5K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Sea Doo Sportster owners would like to use their boat for fishing. One of the biggest challenges is to find an easy and non-evasive way to incorporate a trolling motor onto the boat. Some people have been able to mount a trolling motor from the front of the boat but have experienced challenges (poor steering control takes up limited space). My design has the trolling motor mounted in the back i...

    After I put the air stock air cleaners back I had to remove the spare battery. I was thinking of replacing it with a fairly large motorcycle battery as the main drive and switch to the big battery when I turn on the music.

    hello J-Man is it possible that i can buy that battery support from you I wanted to add second battery to my sportster 4 tech ? Please let know I would appreciated.

      The battery support was custom fit for my 2003 Sportster. I am not sure it would fit in your boat. I actually built this unit as a one and done (ie. no formal plans) but wanted to share my vision in case someone else needed an idea as to how they could make a harness to hold a second battery. I would have to go back into my boat and formulate a few patterns to make a copy. Not sure if this is a smart idea for a different boat??? What are your thoughts??

      Hi Jeff. I used 3/4 inch plywood for the platform and simply painted it and then 2 coats of polyurethane. Is that what you were wanting to know?

      I will bring out my go pro the next time I am out and will post something for you to see. May not be this season though as I am still traveling in our RV for awhile longer. The video is on my list of things to do. Thanks for your interest and sorry for the late reply.

    J man, hey very compact great design, no drilling and no permanent change to deck. Question I have the model where there’s the visual water cooling stream that exits from the ski hook. You have any issues with this? I assume I’d have a whole puddle on what ever plate that would be centered on back if in contact with deck. I thought of three Ways to solve this, instead of your plate being flush on the deck, do 2 or 3 strips of wood with rubber to lift the deck off by 3/4 in. Or on your upright transit plate make a cut out so water can pass through and flow over deck and out to river. Or add a hose to divert the cooling water. Thanks for the ideas!

      Sorry for the late reply, I have been on the RV trail with virtually no internet access. I have not had the problem you are describing. My deck remains dry wen running both the jet motor or the trolling motor. Not 100% sure of the model you are describing but your solution sounds very good. Raising the plate seems like an excellent solution, happy modifying.

      Sorry for the late response, I have been RVing for the past 2.5 months and have neglected the channel. I have no problem building one for you but we would need to work out details like where you live, shipping, my fee for building it, etc.? Let me know if you are serious. I tried to provide detailed instructions, have you considered giving it a try yourself?

    WOW!!!!!!that is awesome transom. I have the same problem with my seedoo boat. but how is it to drive and control with the trolling motor and handle in the back of the boat. thanks again for the video

    • @j-maninthegarage7249
      @j-maninthegarage7249 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment. I typically sit on the motor cover with my feet on the back platform and steer from that point. The trolling motor works very well and the boat stays relatively straight as long as you don't try to over steer. If you give the trolling motor a chance to move the boat in the direction that you want you will be very satisfied. When I started using the trolling motor, I was trying to get the boat to change direction too quickly and I found I was always having to counter steer to correct my original setting. Now I simply make small changes at the motor and I am having greater success. You just get better at it with practice but the transom setup works great for me. Good luck.

    I have an 03 sportster le and trying to put in a troller motor and your vedio is great! My boat only going 35 mph and should be going 50 so you have any idea that would help please help?

    • @gillermedia1205
      @gillermedia1205 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Go to seadoo forum. I have a 95 sportster and 36mph on our choppy river is about as fast as that boat can handle. If yours has the 717 engine and only doing 35 then theres a handle full of items to go after including wear ring and impeller inspection.
