    Well, you right in general. When specialist needs generalist it's pretty cheap. But when general person needs a specialist like dentist, he would suck all the money from him. So... No matter what type you are, if you are not getting paid nuff - it's not worth it any way, choose what you are like to invest your time more, become better then others at it, ask proper price for what you doing.

    I don’t agree. It’s not about not giving a fuck about everything, it’s about caring about the things you can change or affect and to stop worrying about things you cannot change! It’s liberating

    But the book doesn't talk about not giving a fuck at all. It teaches the subtle art of picking the things that matter for actually giving a fuck.

      But that doesn’t work. You’re going to have to care about a few things that don’t matter while you’re in the process of growing up and learning what does matter. Nobody’s so perfect that they can just choose to care about only the essential, from the moment they’re born. It takes time to learn that kind of discernment, and it also takes caring about a few frivolous things, as you struggle to learn what is essential.

      Exactly. That's why it matters to actually read the book 😊

      Agreed. It's a book about setting priorities. I won't say it's a masterpiece of a book, but that's the basic message: pick what to care about.

    Agree. We already have way too many people who do not care, or people who say they care but they really don't. This does not mean you have to live like Mother Teresa but don't turn yourself in to an uncaring prick either.

    • @GenerationX1984
      @GenerationX1984 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Mother Teresa lived like a queen while she allowed people to die because she didn't believe in hospitals. The only reason she's famous is because she was good PR for the Catholics.

    It's fact, not fiction. But you forgot the true aspect, nothing matters. We can care. But its a matter of not allowing things beyond your control from impacting you. This is why religion helps people. As the christians would trust in god or jesus to aid them with their problems. Believing they'll be solved with time.

    • @benigro12
      @benigro12 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Maybe...if religion is caring, loving and concerned to all and every denomination irrespetive of their views and actions....alas, we both know that is not the case. True care comes from within, without the aid of a religion or exterior force. Think about it, the only truth any religion ever made public, ...... "Do onto others as you have them do onto you!" Think about it!

    Paying the price for greatness is worth it in every single way too i lost sleep over it there have been countless nights off sleep but it's all about the long term not the short term I've been scratching and clawing I've been consistently good for eleven years straight john elway the great super bowl winning quarterback for the Denver broncos was good for a long long time before he became great

      You're right, it's all about the long game. It takes time and effort to become truly great.
