My parents had a German shepherd that was, shall I say gently, off in the head. Hyper aggressive behavior. He only responded to my Dad. The rest of us he hated, including Mom. We know he had to go but no one would take him. This dog tried to.eat my baby sister out from the arms of my Mom when she brought her home from the hospital. That was it! Dog went to a farm where he became a guard dog. Some dogs are just off, like some people are. We love G.S. dogs in our whole family but this one was not a good doggy for a young family.
