I have a sss strat and I was thinking of switching to hss but it seems you’re playing hard rock just fine with sss. Do you use a booster?
actually its a jim dunlop wah,it actually boosts the signal slightly too,when playing live,pickups are usa texas specials

I’m having a hard time getting just to the first hundred. I saw a girl that just started playing n she had around 5 or 600 subs, lol. I was thinking about a wig n miniskirt so I’d sound better!😂
Sounds good man. I do a lot of playing with backing tracks on my channel also for the last three or four months. And then some garage band and a few gig videos before that. I’m thinking about getting some software to play with have you looked into any of that yet? I hear some guys on here sounding like they’re coming thru a studio.
some guys put the guitar thru audio interface boxes into a music programme like logic or what ever,some guys just use a expensive cam with a good inbuilt mic,which i might invest in,once this covid thing is over,this was recorded just using the inbuilt webcam on the computer and a mic,through quicktime player, that computer is now defunct,so i need to buy something new
@@elbib2446 I looked up interfaces and they ran anywhere from seven dollars to $70, are the cheap ones really that cheap and the expensive ones really that much better? How much would you spend to just get a decent one? Is it more about the name or more about the price and why is it so widely price ranged? Since I don’t know anyone that does this type of stuff I don’t know who or what to ask? I’m sure if I went in the music store they would fix me up with the best thing possible! And I mean for them, LOL!
very nice playing Sir! I am interested in the squier affinity for a slide guitar setup, How did you set up yours, did you raise the action at the nut or bridge? I like the pick up sound,. thank you.
i actually didnt set it up at all,just playing it as i bought it,had kind of medium action anyway,though maybe a slight touch higher may have been good for slide,so no fret clank.depends on youre touch,its just a stock squier.i actually sold it a while back,as i have many other guitars,but sometimes i think i should have kept it,just for playing slide,in open tunings,might look for another one cheap,and just leave it in open tuning for slide

You're a great player. I have an ST Custom just like that. Changed out the pickups to SSS, though, and it's been refretted twice. I've had it since 1991 and no matter what other guitars I've had, the Charvel was always my main guitar.

nah its earlier than that,set neck.gibson open book headstock,never seen a jack and danny with open book headstock, ,my mate dave who doesnt really play has a j and d sitting in the corner,its nowhere near the quality of this guitar , i vaguely remember the guy telling me it was a vox so maybe a univox,defo not a jack and danny
