Took an offshoot from the main trail that ended up being a lot more difficult than it first appeared.
LX570 Rowher Trail off-roading
มุมมอง 144K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Went on a trail run up at Rowher Flats with a bunch of friends. We decided to give this hill climb a try. The LX570 is basically stock except for 285/65/18 BFG KO2 tires and 18x9 0 offset Volk TE37 forged wheels. Vehicle is a 2014 Lexus LX570. Fender flares are by Khann Aerodynamics.
I'm informing you from Korea, and thanks to you, we connected perfectly. All features are functional. - Power Acoustic CP-71 in a 2003 S2000 , US ver - Scosche HA028-WM1SD harness - PAC SWI-RC1 Steering Wheel Control Module However, Harness is so complicated that you need to pull out all the pins and go on a diet. Thank you!
Did you do anything different to get the Mute button to work? I just wired mine up according to the website directions and set the dip switches for Kenwood, but my mute button does not work
These are the settings I followed from a post I found on Facebook. On the panel with 8 dip switches, the only switches in the down (on) position is #1 and #5. On the smaller panel with the 4 dip switches, #1 and #2 are down (on) and #3 and #4 are up (off).
how did you wire the SWI-RC-1 to the power acoustik? did you just hook up the 3.5mm jack? or did you actually connect the blue-yellow wire? the PAC website is saying to connect the blue-yellow wire on the SWI-RC-1 to the blue-yellow wire on the power acoustik which only has the 3.5mm jack I tried manually programming too, but the inputs still don't get recognized (with the 3.5mm jacks connected)
ahh nevermind, I figured it out. For anyone else reading this in the future, I kept it connected with the 3.5mm jack for SWC controls, and changed the dip switches to use a Kenwood radio configuration, not Power Acoustik (i.e. 1-on, 2-on, 3-off, 4-off). This worked for me.
@@mcJJP yes no blue/yellow connection needed. Just connect the 3.5mm audio jack .
@@mcJJP and @johnnylummie2873, Did you wire up the SW1RC1's red, black, purple, and white wires according to the directions as well? It seems there are 2 black wires coming off the plug of the SW!RC1. Do I wire both to ground or one? thanks!
@@joshmccurdy4747 I wired the red and black wires from the SWI-RC-1 to the harness' red and black for power and ground, but I had to splice into the vehicle's blue harness to connect the purple data and white analog wires from the SWI, so the instructions on the PAC audio website are correct. I don't remember what I did with the second black wire... I think I might've left that untouched, since it should just be a second wire for ground. I'll check my photos later today and see if I have one that confirms I left the second black wire untouched.
Nice job, by chance you don’t have a video on how you did the wiring
Nice! I saw others using the Axxess ASWC-1 with no mute function working. Sounds like this is a great option vs waiting for Modifry.
I was going to wait for the Modifry also but saw this was only $40 on Amazon. Figured it was worth trying out.

@@CCFerrariF1 Because i dont need to
That was extremely dangerous
For who?
Do the tires rub??
I'm a sedan guy(LS460) but would consider trading for one of these.
Why in a Lexus?....... Because it’s a Land Cruiser.
bingo
we need more LX570 offroad vids!!
Just picked up a used lx570 and the only thing I'm upset about is that I didnt get one sooner.
man I've been debating one for a while, I'm on a V8 4runner and love this car, but the lx sounds awesome.. I don't want to regret selling the 4r, thoughts?
@@studiooff2946 our previous car was a 2006 v8 4runner sport. If we could go back we would have kept that too. It was paid off and the money we got for selling it was nice, but I miss taking it out when the weather is nice and rolling that rear hatch window down. Had an OME lift on it and it drove like a truck which I miss sometimes. LX is in a different class though.
Pffff, I could do that in a Prius.😁
What are you driving here?

Johnny Lummie , very cool thanks! I’d like to go out to gleghorn this weekend where do recommend start and how many miles should I prep for?
