OMG so much good advice on the fields of media studies-I had no idea, and I'll pass this along to my graduating students. Clubs & parties-it was so refreshing to hear a female's take and I totally understand what you're saying. My son is a student there too, and has Linguistics friends and Dutch friends, as he's in a band with some. He's been party hopping that sounded quite glamorous, with famous DJs and stuff, but I'd only heard a male's side of it. All your dating advice, so true. No cap! ☺

My son is finishing his 2nd year at UvA, and he loves it! I visited last summer and I loved it too. He was in Sloterdijk the 1st year, and I LIKED it. He did, too. He's fluent in German, lovely Antonia-lived in Hamburg. Your video is great, and I agree that I felt very safe there. Look for his band playing out. It's him and 3 Dutchies: their band name is Ratjetou! I'd recommend studying there to anyone, unless they're just not fit enough to get around.
