If its a Best of One format i would suggest trying to adjust to your local meta. Lava Golems in the main deck can help vs Kashtira since now they are trying to end on AriseHeart solo so it would definitely lessen the need. Chaos Hunter could be a solid choice too. But honestly it depends on what you are facing and how the deck makes you comfortable vs it.

I’m not sure if the recursion is needed unless you play more floodgates like Skill Drain, Rivalry, etc.

The match up is in your favor mostly. They lost elf so their extensions are more prone to interruption. Going first you want to keep their board clear. Second it’s probably a coin toss. Gozen Match/ Summon Limit do a good job at keeping them in check

@@DragoonLives fair enough. I am hoping to take a poker knight deck to a regionals in April and was looking for some new ideas. I’m sure others may update their decks so that I can see what ideas people come up with

I do once i acquire all the stuff from PHHY. Sadly missed both prerelease dates due to the weather and a me still being hindered by a knee injury. So it’ll be a bit before then.

I have a compacted ear drum right now so its hard for me to gauge how loud i was, sorry.

Most likely not so well since tearlament is tier 0 because of how dumb the ishizu cards interact with it while also using those same ishizu cards to return your light warrior targets to stop your recycling. The floo match up really depends on how fast they get out storm statue and how well the protect it.

What would you suggest cutting for it? I was leaning on rock sentry personally.

The rock sentry would probably be my choice but I would maybe also consider the revival golem. Most of the time if I’m sending golem it’s because I desperately need material either for and xyz or link but it doesn’t really happen all that much. Not to mention it’s probably the worst draw in the deck.

But to be fair, I build this deck pretty drastically different than this build. Mine is a lot more combo heavy with very specific lines depending.

@@Mr7tv i have honestly began to hate rock golem at times and considered dropping him for another extension piece like gigantes. If i draw it, free body. If not, its a non-issue

Utopic Double would go into Utopic Leo, Leo equips ZS from extra by detaching. However I forgot about Leo counting as Utopia as soon as the game starts so i would drop him and ZS for 2 other Utopia monsters like Victory or Kaiser.

@@lukeelsworthy4010 ah i never considered that route. I tried to make the extra deck play around being locked into light warriors. Also i checked the ruling on Utopia Leo, You CAN go into it via utopia double. But you need to swap the ZS for a ZW in the extra.

In a more purist Adamancipator deck he’s a 2 of for me. But if you can make space for it, do it. The extra bodies on board could be a big difference.

I did, the name of the fusion was giltia gearfried the magical knight iirc. Came out in king’s court.

@@DragoonLives I thought you were thinking of Idaten the Conqueror Star (basically uses a Face Card Fusion to trade a Jack Garnet or Triumph Joker in hand for a Joker's Knight to start plays).

@@lukeelsworthy4010 I don’t post anything I’ve never tested. Hand traps could affect any deck provided they are used at specific choke points. That said i think this deck can play around those threats but to an extent. Getting hit by ash blossom during joker’s straight could suck, but you could still get something going with Joker’s Knight and King’s knight in hand. Or if you have Unexpected Dai and King’s Knight. The deck has a flexible playstyle.

@@waynegriffith7 fortunately it isn’t an ideal spot. Realistically if you got into a place where it does lock you out, you probably weren’t gonna win that one anyway. If you have this deck against the ropes or even equal footing you have other stuff to worry about with all the removal the deck has

@@Grapha1986 yeah lucent can bring em out to either field provided he gets discarded by an opponent’s effect, Ceruli in this case. Chaos fiends could be dope as hell.

For the most part my decks are not meant to be considered competitive. But if you want to use this as a template and improve it, awesome. I have played vs Despia with this deck and even with them stealing your monsters from time to time, it recovers great. Honestly, almost anything Tearlament/Ishizu is only gonna be beaten by the same thing. That deck is nuts. Thank you for watching.

Honestly no. Tearlament is crazy strong. G1 will probably go to Tear easy. Maybe siding more GY hate will help? Adding dark smogs. But the ishizu stuff is also disruptive. But it is a strong deck.
