We were discussing why people put there plants on top of a row yesterday. Somebody was telling me alot of people don't do that. That some people just plant it all flat. Its just my thoughts but i have always put mine on a row so that the water can gather in the valley between the plants. Seems to me like extra water for the plants but IDK 😂. They said their garden grows just as good flat. What do you guys think? Appreciate the input!

always use a powder that fills your case to 60% of the available case volume. double charges won't happen and ES and SD numbers get smaller too. with tight group and 45 ACP triple charges are possible. 5 grains of TG under a 230 will produce approximately 20k psi 10 grains is NOT 40k psi its 100k+ psi. A 10% compressed load of Tight Group produces almost 120k psi. A slightly slower powder such as Green Dot at 10% compression makes less than 45k psi. still way over the limit but but has a starting charge at 73% case capacity (still only 5 grains) it is impossible to "double charge" a 45acp. (the powder will fit but the bullet won't). I'm not recommending Green Dot or any other powder I'm recommending using the right powder for the job. burn rate and density matter. compression matters

I guess those premium performance bullets have a proper place, but a 200 lb deer doesn't put much demand on a bullet for me. I have a great respect for old school bullets that got us to where we are in 2024 with a huge number of premium bullets to choose from if we want.

Trigger control is the hardest of the 9 fundamentals of marksmanship to master. Smoother trigger pulls will help your groups firing a left handed rifle right handed. We had to shoot our right handed rifles left handed back in the day also and our professional instructors told us the same damn thing because learning trigger control was the main reason for sloppy groups. Trigger control isn't considered enough these days, and absolutely is the hardest part of precision shooting. Semper Fi.
