Walking through Mystic Seaport Museum today and here is what we saw. It was the time of slavery and the large boats were the way to transport slaves to freedom. Printing the newspaper took 4 days and each little metal letter had to be placed backwards then pressed it. Enjoy the day with me! Nancy the NP

Listen to what the preacher says. Pretty ominous!! Walking through the old fisherman town of Mystic is so fun. It is great to do things like this as a retired person. Temperance was part of the sermon probably every week! Spend the next 4 days with me at Mystic. Nancy the NP!

I heard the toot of the Essex Steam train. Normally, people would just walk up and look at the train, but not me. I get all excited, just like a kid, and I start jumping up and down, waving to the people inside. Never stop being a kid and remember to live in the present. Nancy the NP ❤️

Maintaining friendships, especially as you get older are more important than ever. As a matter of fact, the older we get, the more isolated we can be. Sometimes, it's easier to just stay home and turn on the t v than to call a friend. So make that effort and take the step to call an old friend . You will not regret it! Take care from Nancy the NP!

So, I'm outside doing some gardening. And I'm picking up these spiney balls that cover these american chestnuts.
