It looks like putting the tent up is very simple, but the sound quality is terrible.

I've had one of these for 10+ years and used it 30+ times. It is a good tent, has seen all 3 season and lots of rain. But that rainfly is frustrating. I'll try this approach next time.

Your supposed to put the clips on the poles before lifting. Also you didn't mention you need to stake down the 4 corners before feeding the poles into the sleeves.

I think it's a SST tent. Those are expensive.

Help...... I bought the same tent at a yard sale for 2 bucks . All the cord in the tent pols was missing. I have no clue if all the poles were there. How many tent poles including rain flap poles came

Nice fix. However I wouldn't I'd call that a field repair. 99+% of campers don't carry a tube cutter, pliers, and a file on their adventures.

TY. This is helpful with trying to figure out how the short pole fits on rainfly front of just purchased Mountain Summit Gear 4 person tent. Now to locate something like the grommets you show here!

I weighed my exact year model and it is 3.7lbs. With stakes. It’s still a great tent. A little on short side.

Not bad but This is basic but too interested in doing this fast, like a salesman. Photography could include closeups with slower commentary. Is not very detailed eg., the ridge pole can freeze up in the black plastic fitting creating a problem inserting, even breaking a pole when trying to force it in or out;doesnt describe how far the ridge pole should be inserted in that fitting for optimum adjustment; doesnt explain how to use the repair pole part

Super easy fix! Glad your video came up first on my search. Two corners of my tent have a broken clip, and I believe it's why the side between them was the only area to get wet inside last night. It was a doozy of a storm!

REI hasn't figured out how to make their tents simple to set up. I had to search YT for a video to figure out how to set up this tent. I had another solo tent I gave to Goodwill because you needed a PhD in tent set ups.
