This video shows my minivan running over a large object on the highway. The object was strewn onto the highway due to an accident on the opposite side of the road. Hi thanks for the video and all the comments I had same problem on the 23 model and yes it was just the tip of the rubber on the bottom, really appreciate the help as the car is only 3 days old and really don't want to go back to dealer so soon

Is the car's engine running or just on?
No need for the car to be running to perform this, but the ignition should be on -- that's the second press on the push stat button WITHOUT stepping on the brake paddle: 1. First push "Accessory Mode" 2. Second push "Ignition On"

Yes, I had the same problem and the rubber at the bottom of the door frame was loose. After reattaching it worked perfectly.

How do you adjust the service interval?
You cannot reprogram the duration (miles/time) of the service interval. At least not by DIY methods.

It's crazy to me that 2600 people have viewed this video and I can only imagine that 2600 people have had the same issue. The sliding doors on the carnival seemed to have a crazy amount of issues, that should have been addressed during manufacturing. However, I'm very thankful for your video because I was in a panic when my door would not close. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow.
Thank you for your comment Ky! Check the weather strip around the door and the frame. If there is a slight misalignment, the security feature prevents the door from closing.

@@TeamPasanNivasa It wasnt my car, im a lube tech. Idk the trim, I did end up figuring out how to reset it though, it wasnt too much different, it was just in another menu
@@zeallust8542 Glad to know that the issue was resolved. Ironically, different trim levels of the Carnival have this in different menu settings. This was the reason I asked for the trim level.
@@TeamPasanNivasa Makes sense lol. Your video is definitely the one that helped me find it though, even if it wasnt the same, it did give me an idea of how the menus in this car work :)
My carnival has a similar issue, but instead of not closing, it won't open. When I push and hold the button, it beeps but nothing happens
Is it on the driver's side? Kia Carnival's driver's side sliding will not budge if the gas cap is not closed properly. Open and close the gas tank lid and try again.
I have same issue ... How to solve it?
@@mohamadnorfazliosman6058 check the weather strip on the door edge. If the issues is on the driver side sliding door not opening, then check if the fuel door is properly closed.
