    First one here! Great video! How would this work with larger PVC pipe? I need to build a PVC dip bar for my home gym.

    • @HomeImprovementSteven
      @HomeImprovementSteven 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for watching! Larger PVC can work well for this, especially if you keep the support distance short. Consider using furniture-grade PVC for added strength. For example, 1" Schedule 80 PVC can hold up to 200-300 lbs over a 2-foot span if the load is evenly distributed. Key tips: PVC becomes less strong in high temperatures or if it has degraded over time due to UV exposure. Use the largest, thickest PVC that’s still comfortable to grip.

    Great tool-smooth, quick, and with just the right features. As a Dutch user, I noticed that the basic materials are in inches and have different base size than available for me. For example, a 2x2 inch (50.8x50.8 mm) piece is not available in our local hardware stores; the closest is 44x44 mm. While there is an option to change the length (also in centimeters), is there an option to manually adjust the width and height of the material as well?

    Amazing! I have been looking for this software for years. I am not a woodworker by any stretch of the imagination, and I love the simple interface. It mimics my build style. Grab a piece of wood cut it to length and put it in. I dont want to spend days modeling parametric lumber, I just want to click and place. You have made that a reality. I am sure you have quite a few features you are working on and will definitely be watching the progression of this software, and finally building the pieces that i want to. You are doing amazing work. In the future, I hope to see some features to distribute, align, and preselect lengths to connect parallel items.

    This program is amazing, SOOOO much more intuitive than SketchUp! If you're interested in suggestions, can you add a 1x5 inch wood option? Also, I second the need for a ruler/measuring tool and a copy paste function. Finally, could you add a feature that allows you to extend the length of a group of pieces. For example, if I want to extend the height of a box, currently I need to delete the top pieces in order to extend the side piecees. But it would be nice to be able to select all the side pieces and extend them as a group without needing to delete the top pieces. But again, this is awesome for those of us who struggle with numbers.

    Seems like a great tool (although missing some basic features like copy/paste). However, there's no information about or indication of nominal wood size vs actual wood size, nor can I add custom wood sizes/pieces to account for these differences. I feel like this should be a fundamental feature for a program that is meant for designing woodworking projects and generating a parts list.
