Simple Harmonic Motion (SHM) 2 examples. This video was recording during class so there is some background noise and longish pauses.
Simple Harmonic Motion other formula + example

Constant forces and Newton's laws
มุมมอง 623 หลายเดือนก่อน
A basic mathematical treatment of forces and Newton's laws. This is for a Specialist Maths class, not Physics, so we are focused on calculations not precise definitions. Includes inclined planes, brief mentions of friction and non-constant forces. Recorded during class so pace is a bit slower and there are some longish pauses.
Linear motion with constant and non-constant acceleration
มุมมอง 553 หลายเดือนก่อน
Linear motion with constant and non-constant acceleration, using calculus. Recorded during class, so the video is quite long with some longish pauses.
Basic complex number identities involving modulus and argument
มุมมอง 1005 หลายเดือนก่อน
Prove: |zw|=|z||w| (modulus of product equals product of moduli) Prove: arg(zw)=arg(z) arg(w) (argument of product equals sum of arguments) Prove: zz*=|z|^2 (complex number multiplied by its own conjugate equals modulus squared) Recorded during a lesson so there are some pauses.
Circle proof 9: When two chords of a circle intersect, either inside or outside the circle.
มุมมอง 1047 หลายเดือนก่อน
Prove: When two chords of a circle intersect, the product of the lengths of the intervals on one chord equals the product of the lengths of the intervals on the other chord. When the intersection in outside the circle (so we're really talking about secants instead of chords), be careful to always measure the interval from the point of intersection both times-NOT the length of the chord. Recorde...
Circle proof 10: The tangent-secant theorem.
มุมมอง 1457 หลายเดือนก่อน
Prove the "tangent-secant theorem": When a secant and a tangent are drawn to a circle from an external point, the square of the length of the tangent equals the product of the lengths to the circle on the secant. This is a direct consequence of the theorem about intersecting chords, when the intersection in outside the circle. Be careful to measure the lengths on the secant from the point of in...
Circle proof 8: Alternate segment theorem: Angle between tangent and chord.
มุมมอง 797 หลายเดือนก่อน
Prove the "Alternate segment theorem": The angle between a tangent and a chord is equal to the angle in the alternate segment. Recorded during class when they were mowing outside.. sorry about the noise.

HeyIan Bailey-Mortimer Your videos are awesome, but I noticed they’re not performing as well as they should. The issue could be SEO-related, and I’d love to offer you a free report on how to improve your channel’s visibility. Let me know if you’d like to discuss!
Why do ALL parallelograms lean to the right?

First! 🙌
THANK YOU SO MUCH! this video has helped me understand this topic so much better
Easy to understand and straightforward, I understand all of it. Thank you❤
very nice explanation
thank you
No le entiendo don
great work king
Feels like I'm back in specialist. What a throw back 😄. Great lesson Mr BM.
Gotta love a good old Specialist Maths Physics lesson 😁
Why did you decrease the power to 7 in the second last part
because 2^8 divided by 2 is 2^7
Average Speed is which type of data?
Why there 6we write
um arent horizontal lines eastings and vertical lines called noethings since the vertical lines go north and the horizontal lines go east?
How is it possible that people can't understand? I mean, it's very useful and... yeah, I don't understand it either.
Ian, you are awesome. Thanks for making it possible to gain the knowledge and language. This enables many of us to contribute to developing our intelligensia and in return our social navigation skills.
2024 use ful video
great video. awesome explanation. very useful.
Thank you for this fantastic, informative video I used it for my class again this year :)
What if the numbers are not the same e.g 5×8×8×8×8×8? What should I do?
5 x 8^5
Then how do u convert it back to a time value ? U can try reversing the equation like for example 3:8 hours u need to multiply 0.8 with 60 to get 03:48 again and it gets more goofier in converting the mitues for example 812.5 min 812 is the minute which means u gotta divide it by 60 which you will get like 13.53333 0.5 multiplied by 60 is 30 minutes So if you would just ignore the 0.5333, 812.5 is approximately 13:30 but how do u get the exact answer ?
Thank you. Still helpful in 2024
Thanks
perfect explanation! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Hi aunt this is
Why do you draw straighter lines without a ruler than me when I have a ruler
Practice :)
Sir is looking like Cristian bale 😮
Please solve 9+2r=16
I am confused. I thought it's nomina, ordinal, interval and ratio?
how to find the key?
Could someone explain where 180° comes from?
tysm it's the night before my exam
What a video explaining roblox and how to play it!!!!!
i had a question like this in my TEG exam the other day and I was absolutely stumped, it was like: solve the intercept of the following two graphs y = 2x -3 y = 2^(x-3) but one of them is exponential!! bro how do you solve this?! someone please explain aghh
exponential functions are transcendental which means there is no algebraic way to find their roots. You have to estimate it numerically using newtons method.
real
Thanks - I shared this with my Further Maths class in the UK - it was great - saved me lots of drawing on the board.
I was one of such students, good video. My shark liked it
I too was a student in this class - @retroevelyne7772's shark did get in the way of the board though
He's sorry
Thank you know I understand how to convert bearings.
SAVED MEEE UR AMAZING
not very useful when the numbers don't match up nicely
yes! how do you calculate it when they don't match up?
@@sisivibes1168 you have to estimate it with newtons method for finding roots, i.e you make 0 = f - g = h and apply newtons method on h else you can only calculate it algebraically using the Lambert Function but that seemed very difficult to me. i made a question on math stack exchange, maybe it helps
I like the video design add
I think it is better if we've got a formula that gives the median NOT the position of the median !
Thank you! This video was so helpful! I had an homework on this and I learned it in just 4 minutes💛
niceeeeeee
Can we say that "There are 7 TATA'S great car" -In this line 7 shows the numerical data -TATA shows the nominal data - great shows the ordinal data ?
thank uuu!
Thank you so much for this beautiful explanation!
